PUG MILLS SIZE: 14-78 (356-1,981mm) CAPACITY: 500 lb/hr - 250 TPH Pug mills, also commonly called paddle mixers, are frequently used as a stand-alone device, or as part of a larger agglomeration process involving a granulation drum or disc pelletizer. Pug mills offer a homogeneous mixture when working with solid and liquid feed components. The kneading motion imparted by the pug mill makes this equipment an ideal fit for heavy-duty processing applications. Various customizations are available for the pug mill. PIN MIXERS SIZE: 10-50 (254-1,270mm) CAPACITY: 200 lb/hr - 70 TPH Pin mixers are a diverse piece of agglomeration equipment that can be utilized as a stand-alone device, or as part of a larger disc pelletizer or granulation drum setup. The high-speed spinning action of pin mixers makes them especially well-suited to processing finely divided solids, and promoting a homogeneous mixture when feedstock consists of both solid and liquid feed components. Various customizations are available for the pin mixer. DISC PELLETIZERS SIZE: 24-25 (0.6-7.5m) CAPACITY: 100 lb/hr - 100 TPH Disc pelletizers, sometimes called pan pelletizers or pan granulators, are the equipment of choice when creating a highly refined product. Several variables can be adjusted during processing in order to fine-tune pellet characteristics for the intended application. Various customizations are available for the disc pelletizer. Two sets of chain/bar links reduce dry and semi-moist materials with a minimum amount of fines and caking or plastering within the crusher. Hammer mills are ideal for use in fertilizer production and can convert oversize agglomerates into the desired product range of minus 4 mesh to plus 20 mesh. FEATURES - A reaction between ammonia and sulfuric and/or phosphoric acid - Effective use of the heat of reaction to evaporate water - Utilization of the reaction temperature and pressure to create a molten product for controllable granulation in the drum - Interchangeable sections to minimize downtime on replacement of wear sections - Reactor designed to integrate effectively with granulation drum and supplemental ammonia and steam sparger equipment - Available in various materials of construction Pressure Relief Valve Rupture Disc Feedstock Inputs Drain Valve Drain Granulation Drum Pipe reactors can be a valuable addition to a granulation process, offering significant energy savings. Pipe reactors allow for a complete reaction between the ammonia and sulfuric and/or phosphoric acid. The hot melt created in the reaction is discharged into the bed of the granulator as a hot melt, allowing for controllable granulation in the drum. The heat of the reaction is captured and used to flash off the initial moisture, greatly reducing the amount of energy required to dry the final product.
