Work Environment Outlook Employment is a division of Outlook (Vic) Inc. and provides assistance to eligible job seekers with disabilities to find and maintain suitable paid employment in mainstream employment. The position is within Outlook Employment. The primary role will be to provide the required management & support to staff and assistance for eligible job seekers to find and retain paid employment. To build skills, address barriers and motivate Participants to enable them to gain suitable employment. Establishing appropriate contacts and relationships with local employers and other agencies will be necessary to achieve successful outcomes. Position profile Key Selection Criteria The position is a Management position based at Outlook s employment services division, Outlook Employment. Outlook Employment provides assistance to people with disabilities to find employment in open market place. This role has prime responsibility for the management of one of Outlook Employments three sites including Participant management, staff management, financial management, and future developments of the service that ensure continued growth in the securing sustainable employment opportunities for job seekers. Selection will be based on assessing an applicant s skills, knowledge, past performance & other personal qualities relevant to the work assignment, as listed below. JOB PROFILE The Team Leader is accountable to the Employment Services Manager for performance in the following Key Result Areas: Staff Management Networking, Marketing and Promotion Participant Support and Job Placement Supervise & support open employment service staff Conduct staff performance appraisals & identify training needs. Allocate job seekers & workers to EC s. Monitor Staffing levels & caseloads Monitor staff employment outcomes. Monitor job search & marketing activity of staff. Interview potential job seekers, with staff if required. Discuss Participant issues with staff as required Assist ESM in the employment process for new staff Team Leader to maintain own Participant case load at level within constraints of other duties.
