BRIEF SCOPE OF WORK : Vendor s scope of supply shall include but not limited to the following major items / subsystems as per Job Specifications, Data Sheets and drawings/documents/standards enclosed and forming a part of the Material Requisition (MR). 3.1. In-feed (empty drum) power driven conveyor of Minimum 15 m length before the filling machine. 3.1.2. Following major sub-systems within the machine for automatic operation a) Drum transfer conveyor b) Empty drum centering station c) De-bunging station d) Filling station with single/double lance as per vendor design, to meet required drum filling rate. e) Redundant mass flow meters f) Bunging and cap sealing station Page 1 of 6
g) Bung transfer conveyor h) Caps hopper, sorting and conveying system i) Empty and filled drum weighing system j) Labeling station 3.1.3. Out-feed (filled drum) power driven conveyor for transfer of filled drums to palletizer unit. The length of the conveyor between filling machine and the palletizer shall be based on the layout fulfilling the operational and accessibility requirements of filling machine and palletizer. The conveyor shall also have facility for evacuation/rejection of filled drums. Minimum length of the conveyor available for evacuation/rejection of filled drums shall be 3 m. 3.1.4. Automatic Palletizer Unit. 3.1.5. Pallet Conveyor (power driven). The length of the conveyor (carrying the filled drum pallets) after the palletizer shall be minimum 10 m. 3.1.6. Suitable pressure control valve (PCV) / arrangement, if required, to maintain required inlet pressure to the machine. 3.2. Standard accessories which are part of the standard equipment to fulfill the functional requirement. 3.3. Complete set of anchoring materials including foundation bolts, nuts, washers, fixtures, leveling shoes/screws, grouting material and other related installation materials for alignment and fixing of the machine on the floor/foundation. 3.4. Structural supports for all equipment, piping, ducting, cable trays etc. as applicable. 3.5. Operating and maintenance platforms, access ladders, cross-over etc. required to provide access to various items of unit, wherever required. 3.6. Complete piping work, all valves, fittings and instrumentation as required for distribution of utilities within Battery Limit. 3.7. First fill of oils & lubricants and replenishment of any loss of these up to commissioning as required. 3.8. Mandatory spares for electrical and instrumentation items as per technical scope (Doc No. A842- PDY-80-43-SOW-4720) respectively (Price to be included in the base price / lump sum price). 3.9. Spares for startup and commissioning (Price to be included in the base price / lump sum price). (Refer Job Specification Doc. No. A842-PDY-80-43-SP-4720). 3.10. One set of special tools and tackles for operation and maintenance, as required (Price to be included in the base price / lump sum price). 3.11. Quotation for Recommended spares for Two (2) years normal operation and maintenance of the system including mechanical, electrical and instrumentation items with itemized price list. The order for the same shall be optional and in discretion of Client. 3.12. Electrical works items as per technical scope (Doc No. A842-PDY-80-43-SOW-4720) 3.13. Instrumentation works items as per technical scope (Doc No. A842-PDY-80-43-SOW-4720) 3.14. All drawings and documents as per vendor data requirement (Doc. No. A842-PDY-80-43VDR- 4720). 3.15. Any additional items or feature required / identified during detail engineering for the completeness and trouble-free performance of the system. There shall not be any price and time implications, as long as system performance & technical requirements within the battery limits of the system as defined under this specification/ requisition are kept unchanged. 4. Tentative Time Schedule : For Indian Bidders: 09 Months on FOT Despatch Point basis from the date of Fax of Acceptance For Foreign Bidders: 08 Months on FOB International Sea Port of Exit basis from the date of Fax of Acceptance Page 2 of 6
5. Tentative Cost : Indian Rupees 200 to 250 Million 6.
