Results from previous action plans (review action plans from previous three years and assess progress based on subsequent results): Previous action plan included a process to successfully measure and record data for this report. Action items completed successfully. Proposed Courses of Action for Improvement in Learning Outcomes for which Targets Were Not (include review of results from previous three years to provide context for current year results): Course evaluations have a mean score of 3.6 out of a 4.0 scale. Target met, but with wide variation by instructor. Timely feedback is an area that needs improvement. Action: Training of faculty and adjuncts is a focus of the program this year. Adjunct Faculty Training Guide has been developed. Adjunct training is in process. Program Outcome data ratings reflected in End of Program Evaluation are lower in 2015-2016 than in 2014-2015 (4.2 overall versus 4.5). Action: 2015-2016 saw significant change in the BHA program with changes in faculty, addition of faculty and changes to program leadership. Faculty load should see significant improvement given faculty increase. Significant changes have been made within the adjunct pool with the hiring of adjuncts that are academically or professionally qualified for specific course offerings. All and Indirect Student Learning Outcomes : This could be indicative of grading style of a program staffed with adjuncts. Action: Training of faculty and adjuncts is a focus of the program this year. Adjunct Faculty Training Guide has been developed. Adjunct training is in process.
