AXON Predict Analytics engine and action framework is fully integrated with VxWorks message queues and exposed through a common API, enabling you to programmatically submit analytics queries and receive events from the analytics engine interactively. AXON Predict Analytics is packaged in a small, lightweight footprint that consumes a relatively small amount of host device system resources. Pre-built Pattern Library AXON Predict Analytics offers benefits without requiring predictive models. Instead, it provides an environment in which domain expertise and baseline learning can be leveraged for anomaly detection and responsive action. This enables an iterative development environment in which patterns and analytics can initially be quickly defined and deployed to the edge engine, providing feedback and enabling further refinements over time, while the historical picture necessary for developing predictive models is assembled. Real-Time Analytics Once the AXON Predict Analytics engine is deployed and primed with analytics scripts and pattern definitions, it processes the data in real time. Analytics questions are employed to determine operational baselines in an unsupervised learning mode and to support realtime anomaly detection. Actions are registered against the defined patterns, enabling appropriate actions to be taken in response to discovered conditions, such as sounding an alarm or sending a notification message to technicians of an impending issue. In addition, VxWorks processes and applications register with the AXON Predict Analytics engine to receive event messages containing the analytics results and pattern matches discovered by AXON Predict Analytics. Applications will be notified of pattern matches and can take actions appropriate for the discovered conditions, whether it is disabling a system prior to failure, increasing cooling, or supporting any other appropriate response aimed at issue mitigation and device self-healing. 4 Product Overview

AXON Predict Analytics continues to run in disconnected environments and autonomously discovers anomalies and patterns in order to generate appropriate actions. In other cases, connectivity may be intermittent or bandwidth limited. In these environments, AXON Predict Analytics edge processing provides a significant benefit in reduction of data. Instead of sending all data to the cloud, AXON Predict Analytics reduces that data to send only key performance information periodically. Detection of anomalies triggers the collection of additional data to support deeper exploration and investigation. Reduced Downtime Organizations in manufacturing or heavy industries, such as transportation, energy, and utilities, often rely on large equipment.
