HISTORY At the beginning of the 60s, Benjamín Guillén Ferrer from Gúdar, Teruel, Spain, moved to Valencia to start this career in the world of agriculture. His restless and entrepreneurial spirit inspired him to buy eggs at farms in the area of Sinarcas, which he then sold with the help of his Ossa motorcycle and a wooden box. In 1975 his brother Joaquín joined him and bit by bit, and with great effort, they managed to grow the company, expanding throughout the whole Valencia Region. 1984 After two decades operating throughout the Valencia Region, the Guillén brothers founded the company Huevos Guillén S.L., introducing new generations to the family business. 1997 In this year the commercial relationship with the Spanish supermarket Mercadona began. 2000 The company became an associate egg supplier and, therefore, especialist producer for Mercadona. The company Industrias Avícolas Guillén S.L. was founded in Benaguacil, Valencia, in order to produce and sell feed to the companies belonging to the group and third parties. In 2012 it was taken over by Grupo Avícola La Cresta S.L. 1992 First free range hens centre in Sinarcas (Valencia). 1999 In this year boiled egg production began at the plant in Quart de Poblet (Valencia). 2002

2006 The expansion process to other regions in Spain began. In addition, majority shareholding was bought of the Grupo Padrino Sierra de Toledo companies. 2008 As part of the expansion plan, majority shareholding was acquired of the company Ibefeed, S.A. (Grupo Cantos Blancos). Alongside Huevos Guillén, this company was also an associate egg supplier for Mercadona. In this sense, Huevos Guillén then became the only associate provider for Mercadona. Production centre for free-range hens in Villabraz (León). Warehouse for free-range hens in Almedralejo (Badajoz). 2016 In 2016 the Group began producing egg derivatives at the plant in Utiel (Valencia). New farm in Bullas, Murcia, was built. 2007 Huevos Guillén continued to expand and increased its productive capacity after buying an already existing farm in Abárzuza, Navarra. 2015 Production centre for free-range hens in Agüimes (Las Palmas de Gran Canaria). Warehouse for free-range hens in Bullas (Murcia). Warehouse for free-range hens and warehouse for barn hens in Sinarcas (Valencia). ALTERNATIVE SYSTEM FARMS: PRESENT 2018 2025 ANIMAL WELFARE 9 AT THE BEGINNING OF 2018 20% OF OUR FACILITIES WILL USE ALTERNATIVE SYSTEMS. HUEVOS GUILLÉN WILL PRODUCE 100% OF ITS EGGS IN CAGE-FREE SYSTEMS BY 2025 We are aware of the increasing social awareness regarding animal welfare, therefore Huevos Guillén has decided to progressively stop selling eggs originating from caged animals. In this sense, we are committed to producing 100% of our eggs in cage-free systems by 2025.

SUSTAINABILITY INCORPORATION OF GREEN ENERGY FROM RENEWABLE RESOURCES Huevos Guillén uses green energy in all its production centres, which are all free from polluting emissions, and originating from inexhaustible resources. Huevos Guillén works with 100% renewable electrical energy in all its centres in order to promote environmental control and sustainability. In this sense, we will stop emitting 7200 tonnes of carbon dioxide per year, which is equivalent to the emissions from all the cars on the road in Spain throughout a whole day or the avoided emissions from the energy generated by six windmills in a year. Our production centres function completely with green energy, which are all free from polluting emissions, and originating from inexhaustible resources. In addition, the Grupo Huevos Guillén facilities are always located next to Mercadona s logistical platforms in Spain in order to optimise logistics and prevent emissions in the environment.

FRESH EGGS Barn eggs Ecological eggs The hens are in warehouses and move around freely. They have nests, perches, beds and a density of birds that cannot be higher than 9 hens per square metre of usable surface. Our hens move around the fields freely where no chemical fertilisers or pesticides have been used. They are also fed feed from ecological agriculture. Free-range eggs Conventional eggs Fresh eggs are a natural food part of many healthy diets with important nutritional properties. Our fresh eggs are produced in farms controlled by our team of veterinarians and the animals are fed by mills controlled by our team of nutritionists. The quality of the feed, animal welfare, and egg and final product safety are all controlled at our facilities. Our free-range eggs are produced at farms where the hens move freely and with complete access to outside. Our veterinarians and nutritionists monitor their feed that comes from our own feeding mills. These farms have hens that move freely around the farm and can access outside, with 4m2 per hen. The eggs are sold by the dozen or half a dozen, with eggs of different sizes. Maximum freshness is guaranteed due to the fact that our centres are close to Mercadona s logistical platforms. Our fresh eggs come in different formats,. All eggs are classified according to their weight: Xl, L, M or S. Quail eggs This is an attractive gastronomic product to use for special dishes.

MODEL Grupo Huevos Guillén is governed under the European Model for Egg Production, the strictest regulation in the world. The foundations of this Model are to promote environmental sustainability, the highest levels of animal welfare and health, and food safety in order to respond to European demands. This involves large investments in farm equipment, in the care for poultry and in human capital. Huevos Guillén is made up of a team of professionals including nutritionists, veterinarians, classification personnel, and environment and quality managers. The eggs we produce have a printed code on the shell that identifies the farm origin and guarantees they can be completely traced back. These markings allow us to follow the egg from the production farm to the sales point and from the refrigerator to its origin, guaranteeing control and food safety. In this sense, when faced with any problem, action can be taken quickly. CONSUMER EMPLOYEES SUPPLIER SOCIETY CAPITAL

MANUFACTURING EXECUTION SYSTEM (MES) INNOVATION 15 Grupo Huevos Guillén is introducing the manufacturing execution system (MES), a customised technological solution to access information on the process in real time. In particular, this system will automate the group s feeding mills, implementing a standard work method to enable integration with a management system and to optimise the use of material and human resources. After a considerable investment, all our centres with a feeding mill will work in a unified manner through a web platform to control all the stages of production. APPLIED INNOVATION Our products are available in over 1,600 shops in all provinces throughout Spain. This encourages us to be more demanding with ourselves and offer our clients the best products on the market. In this regard, Huevos Guillén is working on an ambitious innovative project with the objective of achieving a top-quality product. Through improvements in our equipment s artificial vision systems, we aim to avoid complete absence of breaks, cracks and dirtiness on the eggs. An excellent product with the maximum freshness.

HUMAN CAPITAL 62 TRAINING COURSES + 3.100 hours PREVENTION OF OCCUPATIONAL RISKS BIOSECURITY MEASURES FOOD HYGIENE AND SAFETY ANIMAL WELFARE Our objective is to create a good work place, where people are part of a common project in order to do their very best every day.
