The foundation for smarter packaging BillerudKorsnäs ConFlex is made of 100 percent primary fibre from Nordic forests. With a perfect mix of short fibres from deciduous trees and long fibres from slow growing conifers, we manufacture strong and clean paper a perfect base for good packaging quality. Our mills have invested heavily in energy-saving technology and use biofuel from the forests as their main source of energy. Today, 97 percent of our energy need from the production is met with biofuels. We apply standardised measurements and perform several tests, such as oxygen and steam transmission and measurements of fat barrier properties.
