The Air Cargo Center houses the central freight handling facilities including an integrated bonded warehouse. Direct access to the apron as well as a direct motorway link to the road networks of western and eastern Europe ensure a fast trans-shipment process for all parties involved. 4.8 ha of efficiency. Cargo Center North. The Cargo North area has been earmarked for the future development of the freight sector, and in particular for the expansion of the integrator business. UPS, TNT and FedEx have already located here, DHL presently runs its warehouse operation at an other airport location, and negotiations are also currently in progress with other potential customers. In order to establish a perfect working environment for all parties involved, Vienna International Airport has set up an additional office for the Austrian Customs authorities in Cargo North with approx. 300 m 2 of handling and office space. A total of 14,853 m 2 of usable space (offices and warehouses) has been developed, realised and handed over to users, with approx. 4.8 ha available for future projects. Open For New Horizons. Vienna International Airport Growth incentive scheme Frequency incentive scheme Valid for Eastern Europe and Long-haul (intercontinental) traffic. The incentive applies exclusively to additional frequencies that are served in addition to the number of frequencies currently served. Frequency incentive: 60% for the first 12 months 40% for the second 12 months Destination incentive scheme Valid for Eastern Europe and Long-haul (intercontinental) traffic. A new destination shall be considered a city which has not been served from VIE for the past two flight schedule periods by a direct flight (non-stop or via intermediate points). Destination incentive: 80% for the first 12 months 60% for the second 12 months 40% for the third 12 months High-Frequency incentive scheme freight Valid for Long-haul (intercontinental) traffic. When exceeding a defined number of frequencies all frequencies of a pure cargo flight operation to an intercontinental destination are eligible for the incentive scheme. High frequency incentive: 20% starting from 5 weekly FQ 30% starting from 8 weekly FQ 40% starting from 12 weekly FQ Please note that this overview includes only a part of Vienna International Airport growth incentive scheme.
