FLUENCY AGENT ADVANCED 3/10 Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture Advice for firefighters Special protective equipment for firefighters Further information Flash point > 300 C Auto-ignition temperature Lower explosion limit Upper explosion limit Explosivity Accumulation of fine dust may entail the risk of a dust explosion in the presence of air., Dangerous gases are evolved in the event of a fire., In the event of fire the following may be released:, Carbon monoxide (CO), Carbon dioxide (CO2) In the event of fire and/or explosion do not breathe fumes. Firefighters should wear NIOSH approved self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing. Use appropriate extinguishing media for material that is supplying fuel. Keep out of smoke. Fight fire from upwind position. Cool closed containers exposed to fire with water spray. Do not allow run-off from fire fighting to enter drains or water courses. Dust may form explosive mixture in air. Dust explosion class St2 (Strongly explosible) SECTION 6: ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures Precautions Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up Methods for cleaning up Additional advice Avoid dust formation. Remove all sources of ignition. Keep unauthorized people away. Isolate hazard area. Avoid contact with spilled product or contaminated surfaces. Avoid dust formation and electrical charging (sparking) because dust explosion might occur. No sparking tools should be used. Sweep up or vacuum up spillage and collect in suitable container for disposal. Collect and transfer the product into a properly labelled and tightly closed container. Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly, observing environmental regulations. Use personal protective equipment. If material is accidentally spilled, do not allow to enter soil, waterways or waste water canal. Material can create slippery conditions.
