Quick Start to ChequedFit and ChequedReference
Thank you for using ChequedSuite Predictive Talent Selection technology. Adding ChequedSuite to your hiring process saves time, and increases the quality of your company s hire by using our world-class behavioral science. ChequedSuite is comprised of modules designed to work hand-in-hand with your hiring process to increase objectivity via structured, scored, candidate data. This Quick Start guide will help you to establish your Chequed.com account. Log in by selecting Sign In at the top right of the Chequed.com web page, then enter your Username and Password. In the following pages, you ll learn to: Create a Position Add Candidates Monitor and Sort Candidates View the Candidate Report Initiate a Reference Check 2014, 1
Create a Position Select the My Positions tab, then click on the Add Position button. To create a position, Search or Browse for the most appropriate job title for your position. Any Customized positions configured in your account will be displayed under Custom Positions. 2014, 2
Create a Position The Position Name can be modified to match the title of your open position. Select the modules you d like to use. (Modules cannot be added after the position is created.) Enter the Location by selected the Add Location link under the Position Name. 2014, 3
Create a Position Compensation Information (optional) and Custom Questions (optional use with ChequedReference ) can be added to each position. Click Save and Create. 2014, 4
Add Candidates Select the Orange Magnifying Glass next to the position you have created. In the pop-up list of actions, select Add Candidate o Note: Once a position is created, you can assign an unlimited number of candidates to it. Enter the candidate s First Name, Last Name, and E-mail address. (Adding a Requisition Number is optional.) Select Send Invitations (pictured on the next page). o Note: You may enter multiple candidates by selecting the Add More Candidates buttonrequest the candidate to complete the assessment by a certain date. 2014, 5
Add Candidates An automated email will be sent to your candidate with instructions to proceed after Send Invitation has been selected. Monitor the progress of candidates by selecting the Position tab and clicking on the status color located next to the position. You will then see a list of your candidates and if they have invited their references. Note: To send a reminder* email to a candidate go to Bulk Actions and select Remind Candidate from the dropdown menu. *The system does send out three automated reminders on your behalf. 2014, 6
Self-Registration Link (Optional) Chequed.com allows hiring managers to create a self-registration link that candidates can use to apply to an open position. This link can be placed in e-mails, or in on-line job openings. The self-registration link allows candidates to apply directly to a position without an invitation from a manager. In your list of positions, use the orange magnifying glass and select View in the pop-up list next to the position. Click on the Self-Registration Key to copy the link URL 2014, 7
Monitor and Sort Candidates Monitor the progress of your candidates on a position by position basis from the My Positions page For each position all candidates exist in three color coded stages. Click on the status color next to the appropriate position will allow you to see all candidates in that status From the Candidates page you can view a list of candidates with their corresponding information Candidates can be sorted by any of these information columns Use the Bulk Actions column and the Bulk Actions drop down to take candidate specific actions like send reminders 2014, 8
View the Candidate Report Regardless of the module you are using, follow the same steps to access a candidate report. You can view the candidate s completed report by: Selecting the Positions tab and selecting candidates based on completion stage. Locate the candidate in the list under Candidates tab. Under Product it will show which module the report is for Click on the Status/Score to access the completed report. You can save the report to your computer, print the report or share it. You can also access candidate reports by selecting the Module sub-tab under Candidates tab to see additional Module-specific information about the candidate 2014, 9
Initiate Reference Check from ChequedReference Tab Navigate to ChequedReference under the Candidates tab Use the orange magnifying glass next to the candidate and select release references. 2014, 10
Initiate Reference Check from ChequedReference Report Navigate to candidate report. In the candidate report, select the release references icon to initiate the reference check. A notification will be sent to you when the ChequedReference report is complete. 2014, 11
Best Practices Before adding candidates to a position, preview the position settings. Use the orange magnifying glass and select Edit to review and update the position settings. Note: Once a candidate has been added to the position, the settings will lock. Test everyone you can. Let the assessment separate top potential talent from the rest. Use ChequedFit as far up front in your hiring process as possible! Focus your attention on the candidates who score the highest Don t over-interpret the report; trust the software! The software is scientifically based and has done an accurate interpretation for you. Communicate with the candidates let them know you will be checking their references and don t hesitate to request references from specific types of people or industries. Using ChequedReference ask every candidate for 3 or more references we recommend 5 as a standard for fast results. 2014, 12
