1.0 INTRODUCTION Oman LNG LLC (hereinafter referred to as COMPANY intends shortly to issue a tender for the Construction of New kitchen and Modification of Contractor s Yard Canteen with associated facilities. The COMPANY wishes to pre-qualify potential contractor capable of managing and executing this service, and hereby invites you to submit pre-qualification documentation as required. Further details are given below. 1.1 BACKGROUND Oman LNG intends to construct a new kitchen and modification of contractor s yard canteen with associated facilities at its Qalhat Complex - Sur. 2.0 BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF SCOPE The scope of work includes the following but not limited to: To Construct New kitchen with necessary functional/storage facility and modify existing mess hall as per the drawings/ HSSE &DEP standards To Supply and Install all required utilities from various existing tie-in locations and route/ run them in Underground trenches and connect at respective new locations within the contractor s yard canteen + new kitchen. To Supply, Install, modify and Commission various associated Systems and Facilities to successful function of new kitchen and mess hall. To Supply and Expand the existing Systems and facilities as deemed necessary to cater the need for New kitchen and modified mess hall requirements. To Supply and Install HVAC Systems, Fire & Gas Detection & Alarm systems, Public Addressing Systems (Internal & External), LAN Systems, Telephone Systems (Internal), Fire Telephone System (External), Security Access Control Systems, CCTV System (internal & External), Emergency Alarm Systems, Fire fighting system (internal) and Fire Extinguishers etc. To install fencing, paving, pitching along the slopes around, construct access Roads, Walk ways and to extend Fire Water systems and install Fire hydrants etc. To install utility connectivity s such as Normal and Emergency Power supplies from Sub- Station, Kitchen equipment, Drainage, Domestic Sewage, Storm Water Drainage, Drinking Water, Fire Water, Instrument Air, Hot/cold Water supply facilities etc. 3.0 OBJECTIVE OF PRE-QUALIFICATION The objective of this exercise is to invite and identify potential capable service providers who shall indicate their interest in tendering for the Construction of New Kitchen and Modification of Contractor s Yard Canteen with associated facilities. Tenderers shall be pre-qualified based on information submitted that demonstrate capabilities in the performance and management of Construction Services in accordance with the COMPANY Standards & Procedures, and standard HSE requirements. Should you wish to be included (if pre-qualified) on the bidders list, kindly indicate that you have firm intension of bidding by providing the following; in the event that you intend to utilise a subcontractor for any aspect of the works, please state so clearly in your submission, and provide also such sub-contractor submissions for any of the requirements below which is to be subcontracted: Page 3 of 6
