It s essential for us to invest and upgrade our Construction Yard ( Temir At Oil and Gas Offshore Facilities Fabrication Yard) in Mangystau Region on the Kazakh coast of the Caspian Sea to better serve the Oil & Gas Industries. KCOI wants to become a TRUSTED and RELIABLE key player in the EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) and/or Construction Contractors serving the Offshore and Onshore Oil & Gas industry in the Caspian Region and, at the same time, contribute to increase the local content for any Oil & Gas related projects in compliance with the National Plans of industrial growth of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
THE COMPANIES STRUC TURE A BRIEF HISTORY KCOI IS A LOCAL COMPANY CREATED IN JULY 2008 KCOI is an incorporated Joint Venture Company established by two Kazakhstani Companies, MART Machinery Plant ( MMP ) and Rosetti Kazakhstan, and by Rosetti Marino of Italy. An essential key factor for KCOI success is granted by the proper merge of KCOI Shareholders strengths. Rosetti Marino, together with its subsidiary Rosetti Kazakhstan, is committed to provide: Expertise and technical competence in the Oil & Gas industry Project management capability and integrated engineering, procurement and fabrication skills Long standing references with world class Oil Companies Know-how transfer to local staff & workforce MMP is committed to provide: Contribution to local staff and workforce Acquaintance with local business environment Strong commitment to develop local relations with in-country infrastructure and industrial partners & subcontractors Expertise for local logistics for the business segment of the Oil & Gas industry in the Caspian Region with a land plot of 88 hectares, located 27 km north of the City of Aktau and nearby the International Airport. From Q3 2009 to Q2 2011, KCOI marked the startup of the implementation of its plans to build a new industrial base for the Metal Structures/Modules fabrication and completed the First Phase of the Temir-At Yard, consisting in access road, land and soil preparation for 11 hectares and associated facilities. In April 2011, KCOI established its Branch in Atyrau to serve its significant projects for the Kashagan Experimental Program both on Island D (offshore) and in Karabatan (onshore), reaching manpower picks in excess of 1300.. From Q3 2013 to Q3 2014, KCOI further developed building its Main Workshops, a new office building for 800 m 2 and expanded its construction area for 2 more hectares. The Main Workshops represents now days the best production facility in Mangystau and consists of 3 bays each of 24m x 102m x 15m height at the hook with 6 overhead cranes and fully equipped for structure prefabrication, structure assembly in blocks and piping fabrication.

Our facilities and quay are suitable to load out items up to 5,000 tons weight. KCOI can provide for offshore sea transportation, offshore hook-up, start-up and upgrading of existing platforms as well as commissioning & maintenance services. Thanks to the synergy with Rosetti Marino s fully owned engineering companies, KCOI is the best reliable partner to build your plant and deliver full multidiscipline services on turn-key projects. Rosetti Marino has the professional know-how to create highly efficient, custom-made vessels with particular importance placed on design and safety. Depending on the market demands, KCOI has in its business plan the possibility use part of its 88 hectares of land for the Shipbuilding and Ship Maintenance by means of financial resources and technical know-how well experienced and recognized by Rosetti Marino. Temir-At Yard is a Logistic Base to support Oil Companies, freight forwarder, service companies that may need facilities, warehouses, and storage area with easy access to sea, road and even air.

These land plots are property of the Company and are located near the village of Akshukur (27km north of Aktau City), along the coast of the Mangystau Region. This location is preferred considering the following characteristics: Ideal logistic conditions for staff and workforce thanks to short distance from Aktau City (27 Km, i.e. less than 30 minutes drive) and from the International Airport (only 8 km); Ice free sea in all seasons; Easy access to shop fabrication areas in Aktau SEZ (Special Economic Zone); Easy road transport of materials thanks to the good conditions of the road from Aktau to the North. Target products: Integrated Modules, PAUs & Piperacks up to 5.000 tons each, Jackets, Platforms Topsides, Living Quarters, Manifolds, Bridges, Ice Protection Structures, Pig launchers and Receivers, Packages. In 2009, KCOI shareholders approved the development plans of KCOI Yard, located in Akshukur (north of Aktau City) to be implemented in two Phases (Phase 1 & Phase 2). The Investment plans are in excess of 50 million Euro for both Phase 1 and Phase 2 and consists of: Purchase of land plot of 88 hectares; Soil preparation at Yard site for 13 hectares; Construction of an access road of 3 km connecting Temir-At Yard to the national road between Aktau City, Fort Shevchenko & Bautino; Installation of buildings, facilities, utilities & equipment required for Yard operations; Construction of a load out Quay, break water facility and related dredging of an see access canal; Purchase of construction equipment such as cranes, trolleys, forklifts, etc. Construction of Main Workshops of 3 bays of each 24x102xh15 meters at the overhead crane hook fully equipped for structure prefabrication, structure assembly and piping fabrication. In year 2015, KCOI is performing engineering and permitting for further improvements of the Yard facilities, including: extension of uncovered warehouse land for 2 hectares and construction area for further 3 hectares, material entry gate, Painting Workshop with blasting and painting facilities of 40x102xh 6 meters at the hook, subdivided in 2 bays with two 10 tons overhead cranes each, additional cranes, forklifts, cherry pickers, multi wheels trolleys, and new offices facilities for extra 800 m 2.
