The portfolio of services consists of business development, information and communication management, cost and value management as well as the design of processes and structures. Excellence is centre of everything they do. pom+ won the National Swiss EFQM Award ESPRIX in 2008 and was a finalist of EFQM Excellence Awards in 2009. 2012 pom+ is EEA prize winner for Leading With Vision, Inspiration and Integrity.

pom+ Business Model All consulting services of pom+, core business activities of the company, as well as internal measures are managed as projects. Matrix Organisational structure Company's structure matrix organisation is project based with line managers responsible for employee relationship management. Flexible structure helps pom+ to allocate resources where they are needed and distribute knowledge to relevant areas. The structure was defined in line with the company s business model Resource planning is reviewed monthly by Project Managers and Business Area Heads to ensure optimal use of staff

pom+ Project Management Principles All projects follow project management process rules but each of them has its own specific requirements. 3 key indicators measured for each project: cost, timely delivery and compliance with objectives. Inputs from knowledge managers are systematically involved and new knowledge is generated in projects.

3 Pillars of Project Management Project Managers, Knowledge Managers and Project Coaches ensure that all projects are delivered within expected time, cost and quality. The Project Manager manages the members of the project team to ensure that projects are implemented with the highest quality and to generate added value for pom+ and customers. PM/Employee Project Coach supports project managers with subject matter and methodological expertise. KM Coach The function of Knowledge Manager is offered to skilled and highly qualified employees. They provide managers with relevant decision making information and transform data into information and knowledge and secure up to date knowledge in their areas of responsibility.

Communication and Reporting Project assessment is made for each complete project. Lessons learnt and new knowledge is consolidated and shared. Project assessment: Customer satisfaction Cost Time Task Fulfillment Communication and Documentation Project success Project failures Learnings / improvements Executive Board is informed when project indicator suggest deviation from targets.

Risk Management The project related risks are identified individually for every large project and suitable measures for managing these risks are defined. All risk are assessed during project initialisation phase and addressed with relevant measures in place.
