A ONE-DAY CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO ORGANISE THE BEST MEETINGS AND INCENTIVES MIS 2018 (Meeting & Incentive Summit) is a one-day conference where meeting & incentive planners can meet the best suppliers in Spain as well as learn the hottest topics through an exclusive education programme. Apart from discovering destinations, venues and services for your next meetings, MIS offers networking moments between 150 national buyers, 50 international buyers and around 100 event companies that provides unique meeting services. We will also be experimenting with new formats and interactive activities. At MIS, we aim to let you bring home inspiration, new knowledge and partners. MIS 2018 - ARE YOU READY FOR DISRUPTIVE MEETINGS? Successful meetings look to evoke a change in participants behavior through experiences and emotions. But too often, meetings are predictable, routine-like and eventually of little effectiveness. Then, we consider the need to know which aspects make meetings totally boring. And we think of how we can introduce new elements to transform that routine and boredom into dynamic, awesome and productive meetings, to create an impact and provoke a change in participants behavior. These are disruptive meetings. How we will achieve it? Designing innovative experiences, using various methodologies, a lot of creativity, a different environment using the principles of meeting design. Using the knowledge of human behavior science, that can bring us the necessary knowledge to influence our audience. Taking advantage of technological elements or APPs to facilitate information transmission and enable working.

WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT AT MIS2018? Innovation: From the design of meetings, new formats (crowdsourcing, fun games to get content, debates ), you will experience it first-hand and learn how to make your events more engaging and to create the best environment to transmit your messages through active participation and experiential learning. Technologies for meetings: Face-to-face meetings need to be enhanced by technology in all the phases of organisation and interaction for the pre, during and post event. The best destinations and suppliers: Ideas don t mean much unless they are well executed. Come and discover what s available in the market and why not? Get inspired! Have fun! - #play&learn: play games that you can implement in your events as an icebreaker, as a technique to encourage networking, generate content - #show&tell: discover different destinations through a short visual presentation and the value they add to your meetings - Different areas designed to facilitate interactions and conversations Knowledge Dates : no more boring appointments. We have designed appointments aimed to build relationships and trust first and to enable the exhibitors to help you resolve any problems you may have for your meetings and incentives in Spain. Have a conversation and build relationships! BENEFITS Return flights to Madrid (or up to 250 if flight costs are higher) and accommodation included One free entry ticket to the event. Usual entry: 150 +VAT. Limited places available. Access to all educational sessions and networking activities. 12 pre-arranged appointments with suppliers of your interest: an easy and fast way to know companies that can help you to achieve your meeting objectives. Meals during the event including lunch, coffees and closing cocktail. Welcome Dinner prior to conference, networking lunch and Farewell Dinner on the event day. Possibility to extend one-day for a site inspection tour in Madrid post- event.

PARTICIPATION CONDITIONS Application process The International Buyer programme is limited to 50 professionals with purchasing power in the meetings & incentives industry and have potential to organise meetings in Spain. All International Buyer programme applications will be reviewed according to the established criteria. Grupo eventoplus will contact all applicants within a maximum of 3 working days after receiving the application form. The invitation to participate as an International Buyer is not transferable. What is and not included Grupo eventoplus will provide 2 nights accommodation in Madrid during the event on March 20th and March 21st. Extra room expenses such as mini bar, meals, laundry services, transport, etc. incurred during the stay are not covered. Airport transfers to/from hotel are not covered in the programme. Grupo eventoplus will cover up to 250 of total flights cost. All extra charges due to travel changes by the buyer will be charged back to the buyer. Obligations to comply All buyers are required to attend a minimum of 12 pre-arranged appointments with a selection of suppliers of your choice. Each appointment will last 15 minutes. Once the flights have been purchased, the cost will be charged to you if you cancel your attendance to the conference. If you do not attend all the pre-arranged appointments, a charge of 50 /appointment will be applied If you are unable to attend the event and would like your colleague to attend instead, he/she will be required to fill in the application form and Grupo eventoplus reserves the right to accept/decline the application. It is your sole responsibility as an International Buyer to ensure that at the end of each pre-arranged appointment, the supplier signs off the agenda. The pre-arranged appointments agenda will be given to you before the start of the conference and it must be completed, signed and returned to the Organiser at the end of the event. Failure to do so may imply charges. Attendance to all social events (welcome dinner and closing dinner, etc.) organised within the International Buyer programme is compulsory. Grupo eventoplus will require details of your credit card in the case where the obligations are not fulfilled and charges are to be made.

HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE? Attendance is limited to 50 international meeting and incentive professionals. If you organise, influence, plan or recommend MICE travel programme purchases in Spain, we would you to join us in MIS and enjoy an unforgettable experience with us. The application process is open to qualified, high-volume MICE travel buyers. Applications will be reviewed via a comprehensive screening process. International Buyer positions are filled up each year so please submit your application as soon as possible.
