LABORATORY SIZED ACCELERATED PAVEMENT TESTER Now you can perform FULL SCALE, EXTRA LARGE & LARGE wheel tracking and roller compaction performance tests on asphalt and unbound granular material at a fraction of the cost of a traditional on-site Accelerated Pavement Tester (APT). Laboratory Sized APT Unique on the market, AUSTRACK is the only laboratory sized Accelerated Pavement Tester (APT) that can perform Full Scale wheel tracking. Dual Purpose Machine AUSTRACK is an integrated system capable of meeting the requirements of EN 12697-22 Wheel Tracking (6.1 and 6.2) and EN 12697-33 Roller Compaction. Multi-layer specimens Perform wheel tracking or slab compacting on specimens up to 500mm x 700mm and up to 300mm deep on multi-layer unbound, chip sealed or asphalt pavement constructions. Fully Automated The automated laser rut depth measurement system is programmed to take a matrix of measurements at specified time intervals, allowing the AUSTRACK to be left operating unmanned for long periods of time. 2 AUSTRACK - ACCELERATED PAVEMENT TESTER

ROLLER COMPACTION AUSTRACK exceeds the specifications for EN 12697-33: Specimen prepared by roller compactor. AUSTRACK roller compaction is capable of applying loads of up to 30kN, with an innovative design which facilitates quick and easy changeover from roller compaction to wheel tracking. The segmented roller neatly pivots out of the way to expose the pneumatic tyred wheel. Two smooth steel roller sizes are available: Track width 175mm, 700mm diameter Track width 490mm, 700mm diameter Large and extra large only Extra Large Slab Compacting to EN 12697-33 Large Slab Compacting to EN 12697-33 AUSTRACK is specifically designed to perform Full-Scale, Extra Large and Large Wheel Tracking and Roller Compaction to meet the requirements of EN 12697-22 Wheel Tracking (6.1 and 6.2) and EN 12697-33 Specimen Prepared by Roller Compactor: Steel Roller Method. WHEEL TRACKING AUSTRACK exceeds the specifications for EN 12697-22: Wheel Tracking (6.1 and 6.2). AUSTRACK performs wheel Tracking using large diameter pneumatic tyred wheels at loads of up to 30kN or 3 Tonne with a tracking frequency of up to 1Hz*. Two Speed Ranges and Two Stroke Lengths Designed for quick and easy change of speed and stroke lengths, AUSTRACK provides users with full test customisation. Stainless Steel Door with viewing panel The stainless steel door with viewing panel provides sound and heating insulation while allowing for unobstructed viewing of tests. Temperature Controlled up to 60 o C An insulated and heated enclosure allows for tests to be performed in a controlled environment. Power Switch & Temperature Control Power switch and temperature control allows for easy machine start up and constant temperature monitoring. Emergency Stop & External Controls Emergency stop button provides for operator safety while manual control and jog functions allow for easy test set-up by providing precise operator control of the load platform. Gas-strut Assisted Top Cover The gas-strut assisted top cover provides alternative access for tyre changes and routine maintenance. Easy Test Change Over AUSTRACK has been designed to allow for easy change over of tyres and slab compaction feet. Simply use the innovative load platform to support the weight and remove the quick release pin. Safety Cage Designed with multiple safety features, operate the AUSTRACK with complete user safety. Access Door A large side access door allows for easy changing of tyres and slab compaction feet. Industrial Strength Wheels High strength wheels allow for easy relocation of AUSTRACK without the need for additional moving equipment. Modular Mould Sizes Modular moulds enable users to compact specimen materials in one or more layers at various depths up to 300mm. Loading Tracks High strength loading tracks with industrial strength conveyor rollers allow easy specimen insertion and extraction.

LASER RUT DEPTH MEASUREMENT AUSTRACK can perform long term wheel tracking tests and periodic rut depth measurements without user intervention. The laser rut depth measurement system provides accurate and precise laser rut depth measurement that is: Programmable and automated Non-contact and wear-free Laser rut depth measurement The user definable programming allows for customised: Periodic measurement intervals (i.e. after x number of cycles) Longitudinal position intervals Multiple transverse positions PNEUMATIC LOAD APPLICATION IPC Global s highly advanced digitally servo controlled pneumatic actuator allow axial loads of up to 30kN or 3 Tonne for both wheel tracking and slab compaction. The highly accurate and oil free pneumatic actuator provides low noise for laboratory environments and requires minimal maintenance, reducing your down time and increasing the productivity of your laboratory. VARIABLE SPEED RANGES AND TWO STROKE LENGTHS Variable speed ranges and two stroke lengths allow the AUSTRACK to operate at user defined speeds. Closed loop servo controlled loading provides low vibration and smooth operation over the sample for both wheel tracking and slab compaction. AUSTRACK allows for a full range of speeds for: Low speed range slab compaction High speed range wheel tracking Wheel tracking on large specimen Large wheel tracking with extra large slab compaction feet EASILY CHANGE FROM SLAB COMPACTION TO WHEEL TRACKING Multiple entry points (front, side and top) make changing of tyres and compaction feet easy and safe. An innovative quick release pin allows for quick removal and locking of tyres and compaction feet. For wheel tracking the segmented roller neatly pivots out of the way for a swift transition from compaction to wheel tracking. AUSTRACK allows slab compaction and wheel tracking to be performed in the same mould, eliminating the need to transfer heavy specimens between moulds.
