THE VISION 2030 BLUEPRINT GOAL AND PROCESS Goal of Government - Mauritius will be an inclusive, sustainable, green and High-Income Country with innovative and smart infrastructure, global connectivity and advanced technology. The Six priorities : Employment Creation, Poverty Alleviation, Boosting Private Investment, Modernisation of Infrastructure, Achieving a higher level of Human Development, and Improving the Quality of Life for all. Phase I Consultations and Drafting Started in February 2016 (dedicated Website) Inputs from Government Departments, Private Sector, Civil Society Consultations with Line Ministries Preliminary Draft submitted on 27 May 2016 (used for preparation of Budget 2016-17) First Draft submitted on 9 September 2016 Peer Review National Consultations Approval of Government and Publication Phase II - Action Planning Assist Line Ministries to prepare their Short-Term Action Plans (3-5 years) Phase III - Budgeting Publication of the Blueprint - soon
