Enrol onto THE DIRECTORS PROGRAMME PROFESSIONAL ROUTES IoD DIRECTORS PROGRAMMES For directors who wish to gain a recognised and credible qualification there are two development options, the Certificate in Company Direction and the Diploma in Simulates issues experienced by a real Board with the opportunity to put theory into practice. Finance for Non-Financial Directors (3 days) Delegates undertake four short courses totalling 10 days in addition to some E-Learning. The programme examines key issues such as leadership and governance, interpretation and applications of financial data and the employment of strategic management tools to enhance business performance. Brings together all the elements contained within the previous four courses. The Role of the Director and the Board (2 days) 1. THE CERTIFICATE ROUTE COMPANY DIRECTION Integrated with and building on the Certificate Programme, the Diploma Programme focuses on broadening and strengthening the director s understanding of strategic management thinking. ROUTES TO PROFESSIONAL RECOGNITION Leadership for Directors (2 days) The highly flexible programme delivery enables you to mix and match programme modules to best suit your management development needs and fit into your demanding schedule. DIPLOMA IN COMPANY DIRECTION THE 2. THE DIPLOMA ROUTE Delegates undertake five short courses totalling 13 days in addition to some E-Learning. CHARTERED DIRECTOR On successful completion of the programme you can apply to be considered for Chartered Director status, one of the highest professional awards in the UK. As a Chartered Director you will demonstrate the expertise and integrity needed as a strategic leader to meet the challenges of a modern and dynamic business environment.

For either period you may have been working in a number of roles at director (or equivalent) level, including nonexecutive positions (NED positions must be consecutive).
