MICHIGAN PROVEN. MICHIGAN GROWN. exported to the world. D.F. SEEDS 2017 Product Guide

A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT As President of D.F. Seeds, I strive to make D.F. Seeds the premier soybean and wheat seed company in Michigan. I am confident in the quality products we develop, and in our farmer s results they share with us. This confidence has grown over the past 45 years as John Diehl spent much time listening to our customer s needs, walking their fields, sharing ideas and developing solutions to make our seed superior and the best choice for your farm. Today, John continues with D.F. Seeds as our Research Director and is still following his passion for genetics and science to make D.F. Seeds the best option for Michigan farmers. D.F. Seeds continues to be an independent seed company. We work with all the major seed genetics companies and several smaller independent companies. While soybeans are on the brink of a revolution in trait, genetic and seed treatment choices, we have been testing all of these options in our Best of the Best research plots. We are the only seed company to evaluate these products solely on their performance in Michigan. Agriculture in Michigan has distinctly different markets and climates than some of the other major soybean and wheat producing areas. Our years of testing and experience, positions our products to give you the opportunity to maximize productivity and add sustainability to your farm. D.F. Seeds is offering several options to manage your farm with soybean cyst nematode resistance, new weed resistance options and premium market opportunities. We evaluate the genetics and every new technology to give you the tools you need to manage your farm. You can count on D.F. Seeds to produce tremendous results year after year. Being a D.F. Seeds customer and partner means you made the right decision. ChrisVarner D.F. SEEDS PROUD MEMBER 01 // D.F. SEEDS

WHEAT D.F. Seeds believes all wheat should be sprayed pre-flower with Prosaro or equivalent. Wheat with moderate leaf rust, powdery mildew, or stripe rust scores should be sprayed timely for these problems. Once planting reaches the second week of October, apply 30 to 50 pounds of nitrogen to help tillering. Scout wheat starting November 1 st for aphids. When planting wheat after corn or wheat, apply fungicide in the fall. 11 // D.F. SEEDS

LIBERTYLINK PATENT STATEMENT: Seeds containing the LibertyLink trait are protected under multiple U.S. patents and may be planted only to produce one (1) commercial crop, and only after signing a Bayer Grower Technology Agreement. It is illegal to save or catch seeds containing the LibertyLink trait for use as planting seed or for transfer to others for use as planting seed. Respect the Rotation is an initiative to elevate the importance and grower adoption of herbicide diversity to prevent or manage weed resistance. Glyphosate weed resistance is a dominating threat throughout the United States that affects land values, rental agreements, conservation tillage and can greatly reduce yields. The use of Integrated Weed Management practices, such as use of residuals, preemergence herbicides and rotation of crops, traits and herbicides, is critical as no one method is likely to be completely successful. 2016 Bayer CropScience LP, 2 T.W.
