The award will also recognize a thought leader who has developed and operationalized innovative strategies or programs to address government cybersecurity challenges. Acquisition: The "Excellence in Acquisition" Team Award will be presented to a federal government group who have demonstrated leadership and management expertise in the field of federal IT acquisition. Leadership Award: The "Leadership" Award will be given to both the industry and government partners who demonstrate an outstanding ability to guide and inspire others, which in turn improves the federal IT sector.
