Main activities JSC «Atomenergoproekt» - is the engineering company, General Designer of nuclear power plants in Russia, Eastern Europe and CIS countries. Full scope of works and services in the area of NPP construction, including: siting; development of pre-design, design and working documentation; 3D-designing for construction; engineering surveys; environmental monitoring; NPP life extension; designer supervision during NPP construction and follow-up during operation; radiation, nuclear and environmental safety substantiation; organization and development of construction and erection works, equipment and materials procurement, including development of the required documentation; NPP commissioning activities and handover to operation; NPP decommissioning 3
Nuclear Power Plant Design Atomenergoproekt has designed most of the NPPs in Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe. JSC Atomenergoproekt is the General Designer of Kurskaya, Smolenskaya, Balakovskaya, Bilibinskaya and Novovoronezhskaya NPPs, nuclear plants in Belene (Bulgaria), Bushehr (Iran), Kudankulam (India), and Akkuyu (Turkey). The Company s design was used to build the Kozloduy NPP in Bulgaria,the Temelin NPP in the Czech Republic and Zaporizhskaya NPP in Ukraine. In 2012 the JSC Atomenergoproekt was assigned as General Designer to the Smolenskaya NPP-2. Specialists of the JSC Atomenergoproekt have designed about 120 designs for nuclear power units. The JSC Atomenergoproekt participates in support of existing units built on the Company's projects. 4
