8. Source of Pollution Details of Air Pollution Main source of air pollution will be from stack attached with Boiler. Agro waste (briquette) will be used as fuel & Cyclone will be provided as APCM. Proper stack height will be provided for proper atmospheric dispersion of pollutants. Stack attached to Fuel Type & rate of consumption Stack Height (m) APC measures Probable emission Flue Gas Stacks 1. Boiler Agrow waste (briquettes): 16 Cyclone PM<150 mg/nm 3 SO 2 <100 ppm 0.6 TPD 3. D.G. Set HSD - 35 Lit/hr. 11 -- NO x <50 ppm (125 KVA) Source and disposal of waste water Source of wastewater generation is mainly from process, washing & utility. Entire qty. of generated industrial effluent will be treated in ETP and finally evaporated in kettle type evaporator to achieve zero discharge. Domestic effluent will be disposed off to soak pit through septic tank. Source and disposal of Hazardous wastes Summary of waste and ultimate disposal are summarized below: Type of Waste Category of Waste Disposal facility 1. ETP sludge 34.3 0.25 Collection, Storage, & Evaporation salt MT/month Transportation & Disposal at TSDF site approved by GPCB. 2. Used Lubricating Oil 5.1 0.1 kl/year Collection, Storage, Transportation & disposal by 3. Discarded drums /containers Liners 33.3 500 nos./month 50 kg/month selling to Registered Recyclers. Being used for packing of ETP sludge in case of excess it will be sold to approved recycler or traders. Essentials Pharma 4
9. Funds for pollution control measures The management is quite conscious of its responsibility for maintaining clear environment adequate funds can be provided for the pollution control measures as financing part of overall project. 10. Monitoring facilities Air sampling will be done by outside agency for required parameters and analysis report will be sent to concerned authority as part of compliances. 11. Conclusion On the basis of information presented in the pre-feasibility report on pollution control measures and after its implementation, there will be no discharge of effluent and air emission from the plant beyond the norms specified by the Board as per the provisions of Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981 and Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1974.
