Peachtree Quantum is ideally suited for companies that are outgrowing the capabilities of Peachtree Complete Accounting or Peachtree Premium Accounting. Continuing with the Peachtree family of products assures a seamless transition to a more powerful accounting solution, while avoiding the high costs of implementation, training, and maintenance you incur with many mid-market applications. Peachtree by Sage 2008 Features Included in Quantum: Peachtree Quantum includes all of the new features found in the core Peachtree 2008 solutions. The following list is a sample of the many 2008 features included in Peachtree Quantum. Reporting Improvements Now you can work with your reports more effectively and see more information. Easily select more fields to include on your report, expand your filtering options and sort your reports by more fields than ever! You can also run key reports such as the General Ledger and the Working Trial Balance using any date range within the two open fiscal years, for example from Jan 7 to Jan 14. The drill-down capabilities on many reports has either been added or enhanced as well. These key reporting changes and more will make working with Peachtree reports much easier. 5

Enhanced Report Options See more of the information that is vital to your company on your reports. The ability to add additional fields to these reports also makes it easier to locate key information. And the redesigned screens make it much easier to filter and sort your reports. These changes can be found in some of the most frequently used reports, such as the General Ledger, Account Reconciliation Report, Check Register and Aged Receivables and Payables reports and more! Streamlined Report Design The improved user interface makes it much easier to design and modify your Peachtree reports. Easily change date ranges, and select from an extensive list of fields and filter options from one screen. Additional Drill-down Capabilities Get to the detail quickly with the expanded drill down capability. Many of the most commonly used reports now have improved drill-down abilities to make it easier to view the details behind the numbers on these reports. Improved reports include the General Ledger, Bank Deposit Report, the General Journal and more! We ve also added drill-down to reports such as the Account Reconciliation and Account Register reports. Custom Date Range Filtering See how your business is doing on a broader scale. Now you can set up a custom date range covering multiple periods within the two open fiscal years in your reports and financials, such as the General Ledger Trial Balance and the General Ledger report. For example, you can set up a date range of February 10th April 22nd or December 11th January 18th. In addition to the reports that already allowed custom date range filtering, we ve now included custom date range filtering on the following reports: General Ledger, General Ledger Trial Balance, Working Trial Balance and the Chart of Accounts report. Forms Design Improvements - Now you have a more flexible way to customize your forms such as invoices, sales orders or quotes for a more professional representation of your business. Improvements include: Add fields, colors, logos and other information with a new, simple design screen Modify the layout of our forms more easily Turn on and off fields on task screens and Peachtree will automatically change your printed form Remote Access Service 8 - A new service from Sage Software will enable you or your accountant full access to your Peachtree data when away from the office. With an Internet connection you can access your desktop computer and view Peachtree information and complete your daily accounting tasks. You can also choose to access other applications on your desktop computer, such as Microsoft Outlook or Excel. Add Attachments - If you have files associated with information in Peachtree, such as customers, vendors, employees and inventory items, you can now save copies of these files in the Peachtree record to help you stay more organized. Most standard types of files are supported, including Microsoft Excel spreadsheets or Word files, photographs or scanned documents, so that you can include virtually any information you would like in Peachtree. 6

Peachtree Direct Deposit Service Improvements - The Peachtree Direct Deposit service has been improved to reduce the number of days required to process your paychecks from 3 business days to 2 business days. This allows you to manage your cash flow more effectively because you are able to hold the payroll funds for an additional day before they are allocated for payroll. We will credit your employee's account on the pay date, which must be at least two banking days after you approve a paycheck. Flexible Unit and Quantity Decimal Settings - If you manage inventory in your business, you can now set up Peachtree so that you have different decimal setting requirements for units and for quantities. For either the unit or the quantity, you can select the number of decimal places up 5 places! Broadcast Invoices 9 - Save time on billing with the ability to save one sales invoice for multiple customers. Whether you bill multiple clients or customers for the same product or service, or bill the same client or customer multiple times over a period of time, you can now create one invoice or bill and send it to multiple people in one step. Peachtree 2008 compiles the payroll data for your 940, 941/941 Schedule B, 943, 945, W-2, and W-3 forms and transfers your data directly to your federal and state filings, so you can print on blank paper and reduce the hassles of aligning forms. Peachtree 2008 includes 180 + state forms for all 50 states. All forms, state and federal, can be printed onto blank paper which can save you money from having to purchase pre-printed payroll tax forms. Just review it, print it, sign it, and mail it. If you find a field that needs to be changed during review, you can make the change right on the form and the fields recalculate for you. This is another way we save you time when filing. Peachtree Direct Deposit 16 Provide your employees the convenience of having their pay deposited directly into accounts of their choice. In Peachtree Complete Accounting or higher it has been replaced with the Business Status Center. In Peachtree Pro Accounting and higher the forms designer can no longer be used to customize payroll tax form templates. Print-N-Sign Tax Forms are not compatible with dot matrix printers. Several aspects of the system requirements have been updated. It is recommended that you carefully review the system requirements for compatibility and acceptance prior to upgrading. Multi-user mode is optimized for Windows 2000 Server or Windows Server 2003 client-server networks, and Windows 2000/XP peer-to-peer networks. A maximum of 10 licensed named users are allowed. A named user account is granted a license when selected in the user maintenance screen. Windows 2000 or 2003 Server along with Remote Desktop Connection or Remote Desktop Web Connection client is required to run in a Windows Terminal Services environment. No more than 10 named users. Terminal Server requires additional memory when more than one user is running under Windows Terminal Services. An additional 21 MB RAM is recommended for each additional user. Excel, Outlook and Word integration requires Microsoft Excel, Outlook and Word 2000, 2002, 2003 or 2007. Outlook Sync supported in Exchange 5.5 SP4, 2000 SP2, and 2003 Peachtree by Sage - Quantum 2008 must be installed 12
