Forest fires Risk Forecast Tools & Systems

FOREST FIRES RISK FORECAST The Italian main responsible body is the Civil Protection; The first basis is represented by the EFFIS grid and forecast received every day by the offices; The fire forecast is more detailed by a national forecast system, RISICO; Some Regions add a further, detailed system

FOREST FIRES RISK FORECAST

FOREST FIRES RISK FORECAST Thanks to EFFIS + RISICO an internal daily bulletin is prepared giving the fire forecast at two levels: Provinces and points (intensity & speed)

FOREST FIRES RISK FORECAST EFFIS + RISICO are used also to decide the daily redeployment of forest fire fleet through Italy
