Dear Exhibitor / Contractor: Please read carefully this relevant information concerning logistics at the DIA 2008 and Spanish customs regulations, in order to ensure a smooth delivery of your items to the booth. RESA provides the following services: Offloading & Reloading of vehicles Services Deliveries and collections to / from booth Intermediate Warehousing Collection, storage & redelivery of empty crates Customs formalities Collections from Port / Airport International transports (sea, road, air, express) Repacking service and manpower supply Insurance And any other services related to logistics for trade shows and events.

Documentation required for Customs Clearance Temporary entries (goods returning to origin after the show): The CCIB venue does not have a free bond status, therefore we strongly recommend the use of ATA Carnet for temporary entries. With this document you will save extra costs and delays on the delivery of your items to the stand. On the ATA carnet Resa Expo Logistic must be shown as authorized representative (field nr. 3). Goods under temporary bond cannot be sold during the show, any sale operation must be reported to Spanish Customs Authorities, otherwise heavy penalties might incur. Please contact to RESA staff in the case you intend to sell any temporary goods. Customs Clearance Permanent entries (goods consumed during the show): We can clear on definitive basis consumable materials such as brochures, giveaways and other promotional materials. Please state on the invoice: Samples not for sale, value for statistical purposes Enclosed Proforma Invoice Sample Invoices must be addressed to : RESA EXPO LOGISTIC C/Antartic, 101-103 Zona de Actividades Logísticas E 08040 SPAIN 3 Originals of Proforma Invoice / packing List in English, showing: No. of units / weights / sizes / total no. of boxes / values / full description of items in English, including serial number, model and customs code nr. (Brussels nomenclature) Please issue separate Invoices for Temporary Importation (Exhibits) and Permanent Importation (Consumables & advertising material). Also temporary & permanent materials must be packed separately, in different boxes. Restricted products: The following products are restricted and need special requirements and health certificates: pharmaceutical products, any kind of foodstuff or beverages (candies for giveaways are also considered foodstuff by customs!) and creams for skin use. We recommend NOT shipping this kind of items, to avoid having your shipment blocked at customs! Please also note textiles arriving from China are restricted for importation into Spain and require a certificate of origin.

Special guidelines for courier shipments If you are shipping items through courier service, please read carefully this information and make sure the companies supplying your booth receive them, very often the loss of information ends up with shipments stocked in customs or sent to a wrong address: Deliveries to the venue: We strongly recommend Exhibitors not to send Courier shipments direct to the venue unless you have a member of your staff present to receive them. If you do send goods by courier we suggest that you send them to our Warehouse - address mentioned under Roadfreight. For courier shipments sent directly to the venue no liability is accepted. Correct addressing and labelling: It is very important to mention on the transport documents and in the labels the delivery information at the venue (Name of Exhibitor, Stand and Hall Nr.). Couriers Shipments without proper delivery information at the venue will not be delivered and will remain at our warehouse until the exhibitor requests them (claims for delayed deliveries of unmarked shipments will be refused). Track & trace information: We recommend to have the tracking number (assigned by the courier company) on hand at the exhibition, this will make easier to locate your shipment. Preadvise: Please always send us a pre notice of your shipment on beforehand (see order form at the end of the instructions). Our staff will keep you posted of the status of your shipment. Spanish customs formalities: Please be aware that courier shipments above a certain weight (aprox. 10.-Kgs) and value (40 USD) cannot be cleared automatically by the courier companies and require a Spanish importer of the record. Therefore a proforma invoice must travel with the goods for the import formalities. Please read the Customs Formalities section on this manual. Transport conditions: Send always your shipment on conditions prepaid or DDP (all charges paid by the sender including the payment of duties and taxes). Courier shipments arriving with unpaid transport costs will be refused (unless the exhibitor gives instructions to RESA for payment of charges on their behalf. An additional 10% fee will be charged for advanced payment)

Late arrival surcharges Any shipments arriving after our deadlines that require Customs clearance will be subject to a late arrival surcharge of 25% on our official handling tariff.
