Compensating stacker CS/1140F, CS/2140 The CS/1140F compensating stacker is specially designed for commercial productions while the CS/2140 is intended for newspaper web presses. The two stacker models are available with various levels of automation and are suitable as standalone machines directly downstream of the folder exit or fully integrated with an electromechanical interface to the blocking unit. 2
The machine is integrated in the CUT-TRONIC platform to facilitate automatic job data entry and significantly shorter makeready times on the compensating stacker. The compensating stackers can optionally be equipped with fully integrated digital imaging for extensive control tasks. The use of high-quality mechanical components assures maximum availability and long maintenance intervals. 3

Thanks to the logically arranged controls and graphical display, the compensating stacker can be quickly and easily converted to a different format or product without interrupting production. The use of high-quality pneumatic components permits extremely short cycle times for individual processes. The Siemens S7 300 PLC controls the components using the very latest technology. Unbeatably rugged and proven components assure daily availability in three-shift duty. The exact number of copies is counted by a laser counter or with a counting signal from the press. The incremental encoder integrated as standard enables all products to be tracked accurately to the millimeter. 5
VORTEILE CS/1140, CS/2140 q q Commercial and newspaper compensating stackers for up to 100,000 copies per hour Welded steel frame Moving masses in lightweight design (high speed) AC drives Touch screen Laser counter Intelligent, electrically operated pusher Low height of fall for the products Infinitely adjustable alignment Infinitely adjustable press rollers Infinitely adjustable upper bin Infinitely adjustable turntable and pusher speed Infinitely adjustable flexing fingers (4x) Infinitely adjustable gapper Infinitely adjustable stack compression time Infinitely adjustable stack height Product tracking for gapping accurate to the millimeter Automatic format adjustment (even if the machine is switched off) Automatic prestacking calculation Inclined, three-stage pre-collection fork Doubly dustproofed linear ball bearing raceways on the collecting forks Option of vertical infeed, depending on the product Stack transfer to the delivery table via a telescopic conveyor The majority of parameters can be infinitely adjusted without interrupting operation. The intuitive graphical display allows up to six different delivery options. 6
OPTIONS DISTRI (ROUTING-SYSTEM) q Six different delivery options Straight-out delivery with no cycle time loss Special formats External counting Ethernet connection Remote maintenance Postcode selection for minimum stack height q Fully integrated control system Control according to address, name, data matrix, or barcode (1D/2D) 12 freely assignable digital I/Os for additional control tasks Daylight and artificial light shielding Integrated IR lighting Ethernet connection Multi-bus interfaces The electrically positionable highspeed pusher and a telescopic delivery conveyor for collecting the stacks lie behind the ultra-short cycle times of the CS/1140. Even with otherwise problematic products, the new gapper separates substacks with a precise number of copies. 7
