NFL MENTORS We are offering NFL delegates the chance to be mentored by some of the UK s top financial senior executives. Our unrivalled collection of mentors includes: Philip Gregory Philip Gregory S previous role was CEO of HSBC Insurance Brokers. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG. He has held group finance director appointments in insurance and financial services for a UK listed group, a mutual company, a privately owned group and an American multinational. He has been CEO of Municipal Mutual Insurance, Tulletts as well as COO of Marsh Europe. He has specialised in companies which need to be substantially restructured and has considerable practical experience in M&A transactions. Philip is one of our F-TEN mentors. Simon Martle Simon is Group Financial Controller and one of the board directors at London Stock Exchange Group plc, where his responsibilities include all internal and external financial reporting, financial planning, corporate finance and tax. Previously he spent 12 years at PwC. Simon is a graduate of the ICAEW s inaugural F-TEN programme and in his spare time he is a director of a charity which operates a children s nursery attached to a church in one of London s most deprived areas. Tom Hinton Tom is the Financial Director of Centrica Power Generation. He has held several finance roles within Centrica, including financial controller for British Gas. He is also a Trustee of Christian Aid, sitting on its board and finance and audit committee. Tom is a graduate of the ICAEW s inaugural F-TEN programme. Murry Raisbeck Murray is a Director in KPMG. He has over eight years financial sector audit and advisory experience. He has worked with a number of clients that have been through IFRS conversions in the last few years. Murray s advisory experience includes Sarbanes Oxley implementation projects and accounting advice on group reconstructions to name a few. Murray s current and past client base includes: Allianz, Euler Hermes, St James s Place plc, Phoenix Group, Lighthouse Group plc, Prudential UK, DAS, a number of Investment Trusts and Capita Financial Group. Murray is a delegate on F-TEN. Ann Baldwin Ann is a former client partner, office managing partner and executive partner with Grant Thornton, where she was involved in advising businesses and latterly in the management and leadership of the firm. As an executive partner her range of responsibilities included finance, people development and IT. She has been an executive coach and mentor since the mid 1990s, working with directors, partners and those wishing to achieve those levels. Ann is also a mentor on F-TEN. Tim Ward Tim Ward is a Chartered Accountant CEO of the Quoted Companies Alliance. His career began at PWC working with clients mainly in the retail and banking sectors. In 1993 Tim joined the London Stock Exchange. During the following 10 years he held various senior management roles, including head of issuer services and head of marketing. Tim joined FTSE International in 2003, becoming finance director in 2005. Tim is also a mentor on the F-TEN programme. He also coaches a strictly limited number of senior professionals in the City and Canary Wharf.
