UCEM helps enhance Built Environment professional careers through its accredited property-related and construction programmes, offered at Postgraduate, Undergraduate and pprenticeship levels. n this role you will be responsible for managing the key quality assurance events for UCEM s further education apprenticeship programmes. This includes ensuring that the quality systems are regularly reviewed and updated, in line with the quality and compliance standards that are set out by Ofsted, lead providers and other key stakeholders, in order to continuously improve standards of teaching and learning, student success rates and the overall student experience. Duties and responsibilities Schedule, review and maintain the UCEM Quality Framework for further education awards. Monitor the requirements of relevant professional, statutory and regulatory bodies (including OFSTED and Education and Skills Funding gency) in relation to UCEM s apprenticeship programmes to ensure that UCEM provision is compliant and enhanced through the incorporation of good practice. Manage the institutional annual self-assessment reporting (SR) and enhancement process relating to UCEM s apprenticeship provision. Lead on the institutional quality improvement plan. Work with the director of pprenticeships to ensure areas for improvement are quickly identified and addressed with a focus on begin judged at minimum Grade 2, during an OFSTED inspection. Monitor institutional level KP s and data sets for reporting to management teams and deliberative committees. Ensure that UCEM remains compliant with the requirements of any organisations they are in partnership with to deliver apprenticeship programmes. Monitor the quality assurance arrangements for UCEM s sub contractual provision. Have oversight of the observation process by undertaking audits and working with relevant teams to ensure that the processes are fully embedded. Monitor the quality of teaching, learning and assessment. Oversight of the internal and external verification processes including reviewing reports, identifying actions and managing risk. rrange and coordinate OFSTED inspection visits. Quality assure the development and delivery of quality assurance policies and process for English and Maths. Work closely with departments managers to ensure operations and quality are working together. To provide advice and training to managers and staff in relation to quality processes and improvement strategies. Work with colleagues to ensure that the team areas of SharePoint are fully populated and kept up to date. To keep abreast of best practice and new developments in quality assurance and improvement across the sector and work with the Head of Quality and Enhancement in disseminating these throughout UCEM.
