SHOOT s extermination services include but not limited to the following: Pest Control Pests are of different types varying from harmless to poisonous ones. SHOOT uses effective insecticidal solutions inside and the immediate surroundings of buildings to get rid of them. All the solutions used by SHOOT are colorless, odorless and non-staining. Rodent Control Rodents like rats, mice, cats, dogs etc are often creating nuisance to the society. They are capable of making various troubles from small to big in residents and industrial complex. These animals are surely a threat especially in Industrial buildings with sensitive machinery & equipment. SHOOT s apply different types of anti-coagulant rodenticides placed in plastic, wooden or metal baits. Non-toxic glues are also applied duly. Inspection, relocation and replenishing the baits are done frequently until the situation comes under control. Flying Insects Flying insects includes mostly several species of flies, midges, mosquitoes and wasps. These types are likely to spread rapidly. These insects are controlled by fogging the entire premises using truck mounted heavy duty fogger. For controlling larva of these insects water ponds or watery areas are treated with larvicidal solutions. Termites Termites subterranean termites are the most destructive enemy to buildings in the middle east. Their presence and damage are recorded in all countries of the area. They are tough, determined, highly efficient and chances are you will see no evidence of their work until structural damage has been done. These tiny insects have a longer life span than any other household pest, often surviving for more than 15 years. They are organized in casts with workers, soldiers and the queen. An invisible world looking for cellulose food: Worker termites travel between the colony and buildings, carrying wood fibers and other forms of cellulose, which they share with other members of their colony. These workers rarely break through the surface of wood instead they hollow it out from inside. For this reason their damage is invisible. Subterranean termite colonies need to be near a constant source of moisture, but the nest is separated from the food source, This behavioural characteristic presents opportunities for their control using an effective chemical barrier that separates the house from the colony beneath the soil.
Termites have more ways to enter your home than you do : Termites have many ways to gain entry in to a building. All they need is tiniest gap in concrete or mortar where they are wood and its derivates. If they do not immediately find the wood they want, these determined little engineers construct light and moisture tight tubes leading from their colony in the soil to the wood. These tubes can go up walls, along pipes and even stand free of any support, where busy workers travel between their cellulose, food and their nest, in order to deliver the food to the other members of the colony. It needs great experience to spot damage: If the damage has become visible, then Termites are most likely also in other places which are not obvious to the untrained eye, and almost all ways they are in places that they are very difficult to reach. Concrete and masonry floors and walls must be examined for cracks or gaps through which Termites could enter. Every inch of the building that comes in contact with the soil must be checked, and scrutinized closely to make sure Termites have not entered. In order to be of benefit, inspection must be comprehensive. It should only be carried out by a person. There are two types of Termite treatment, Pre-Construction and Post- Construction treatment PRE-CONSTRUCTION TERMITE TREATMENT:- APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DOSAGE: 1) Inside the Residential Units: (Indoor treatment) The floor of rooms adjacent to the walls will be treated by drilling holes of 0.4 Mtr. Deep at every 1.0 Mtr. Distance. These holes will be pressure treated by filling 4 liters of mixed Termiticides for each hole, allowing the chemical barrier which will completely cut off termite infiltration from the soil in to the building. All wooden fittings such as doors, Windows etc. shall be sprayed and door frame will be injected effectively to prevent termite infestation. 2) Outdoor Treatment: (i) Cement Floor Area: The same type of (Indoor treatment) treatment will be conducted around the building. (ii) Sanded Area (Soil Poisoning) Digging a trench close to outside wall (0.3 meter away from wall) at sanded areas beside and around the building and shall be 0.15/0.30 meter wide x 0.3/0.5 meter deep.
POST-CONTRUCTION TERMITE TREATMENT:- APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND DOSAGE: 1) Inside the Residential Units: (Indoor treatment) All wooden fittings such as doors, Windows etc. shall be sprayed and door frame will be injected effectively to prevent termite infestation. 2) Outdoor Treatment: (i) Cement Floor Area: Around the Apartment treated by drilling holes of 0.4 Mtr.deep at every 1.0 Mtr.distance.
