Our Products Energy & commodities go to the heart of the Mercuria business. Our experienced international teams support our business partners and contribute to balancing worldwide supply and demand. Crude oil Fuel oil Middle distillates Biofuels Gasoline and naphtha LPG/NGL Petrochemicals When Mercuria was founded more than 10 years ago, it was our goal to develop a global energy-focused commodities group. The 2014 acquisition of the J.P. Morgan Chase physical commodities unit helped to bring that vision to reality by building upon our physical power, gas and oil operations. Our approach is founded in partnership, product quality, efficient logistics and competitive pricing. Mercuria is entrepreneurial by nature and has a rigorous approach to risk, compliance and financial risk management. Mercuria values strategic partnership in growth areas, such as the recent investment by ChemChina in Mercuria, which complemented both companies knowledge offerings and understanding of targeted markets. The heart of our business is the supply and trading of energy and commodities. Our portfolio encompasses oil, refined products and petrochemicals, natural gas, power and coal, as well as carbon emissions, biofuels, metals and bulk products. Mercuria has simultaneously grown a network of strategic assets that enhance and facilitate our physical activities and capabilities. Mercuria operates a global logistics chain and has storage throughout Europe, North America and Asia. Underpinning all of our activities, and what distinguishes us, is that Mercuria attracts and retains people of outstanding capabilities. Around the world, Mercuria currently has more than 1000 employees representing over 40 nationalities. Today, Mercuria is one of the largest privately owned companies of its type; and Mercuria is still growing. Within a commodity landscape where markets are becoming ever more interrelated, Mercuria continues strengthening our position and building our capabilities. 1000+ Employees worldwide Global presence Offices worldwide Natural gas LNG Power Coal & Concentrates Environmental markets Iron ore Base metals Oxygenates Bunkering & Maritime Agricultural products 02 Mercuria Global Commodity Trading 03

Mercuria has replaced coal with natural gas for dramatically lower air emissions and a cleaner environment. Upstream oil and gas Mercuria has consistently invested in and acquired upstream oil and gas assets around the world. In an ever-changing and volatile marketplace, our asset s help to provide efficient access and logistics to supply. Biofuel refining Mercuria was an early adopter of environmental products into its trading portfolio. Our refinery transforms used cooking oils into high quality biodiesel. Operating a plant enables us to directly manage the quality and supply which helps accelerate the global use of non-carbon fuels. Coal mining The coal business provides opportunities for Mercuria to apply its full range of capabilities in realizing value throughout the supply chain. Strategic investments in mineral resources and infrastructure underpin our growing presence in the world market. All our activities are managed with the highest regard to the environment and health and safety. We work to highest global standards wherever our operations are located. Infrastructure and logistics Timely delivery and product quality is assured by our global logistic capabilities and network of storage and blending facilities. Mercuria has strategic assets throughout Europe, North and South America and Asia. Thanks to a rigorous approach to risk managemen t, compliance and communications with stakeholders and the community, Mercuria is now one of the largest privately owned businesses of its type in the world. We act responsibly and transparently in the way our business touches the lives of others. Of paramount concern in all our activities is the safety, health and welfare of our employees and the communities in which we conduct business. Socially, we sponsor a wide range of community projects encompassing education, skills training and welfare. Culturally, our diverse activities include support for sport and the arts. Mercuria was amongst the very first members of the not-for-profit Swiss Trading and Shipping Association. STSA works to deliver specialized industry training programs as well as represents the interests of the regional trading and shipping community. Mercuria worked extensively with the authorities, both in Switzerland and in the US to create an apprenticeship program to the United States. Our people participate as visiting lecturers on courses and we sponsor and provide speakers for conferences and seminars worldwide, promoting industry best practices. It is our goal to operate openly and in harmony within the communities and jurisdictions in which we work and trade. 08 Mercuria Corporate Responsibility 09
