Galileo e-agent can be access from the Focalpoint Companions menu or the Viewpoint Web button. From the Galileo e-agent portal homepage select the Vacation Packages icon. Non-US Agencies must first contact TI directly to gain access to TI via e-agent. Air/land packages are available from US originating cities only. Land only packages are available to any ARC or IATAN approved agency. 1
A W3 segment is created and a consolidated itinerary can be displayed in Focalpoint e-agent or Viewpoint. Available to Subscribers with Focalpoint 3.0 (or higher) or Viewpoint 2.5 (or higher) and Internet access. Value Proposition: Access the same accurate information, availability and pricing as found on the website. Remove costs associated with phone calls and time on hold while booking through a Tour operator reservation desk Retain/Regain Productivity credits -- No productivity credits earned for booking directly through the site or via the phone. Earn 3 Productivity credits for each booking through Galileo e-agent. Continue to earn your base commission from Improve profitability with a 1% bonus override for all Travel Impressions bookings made through e-agent. Registration The travel agency must have a valid ARC, IATA, or CLIA number and a Travel Impressions profile to register. To register, click on the New User Registration link and submit the completed form in lower case letters. will email you a welcome letter. Agencies who have never booked may not have a profile. Contact at helpdesk@travimp.com to build a profile. Non-US agencies should first contact directly to gain access to TI via e-agent. Booking Process Click Make a Reservation. Fill out the Trip Planner with your client's travel information: Number of Rooms, Number of Adults and Child Ages, Departure City, Departure Date, Arrival Destination, and Return Date or Number of Nights. Selecting specific hotel(s) using the Hotel Listing button and selecting a specific package type using the Package List button can narrow your search down. Click on Search. 2
Air and Hotel Availability The Air and Hotel Availability is returned using the Best Value Air option based on your air search criteria and is included in the price of the hotels offered at the selected destination. The pricing includes the items noted in the Package Inclusions section listed under each hotel. Note: If Land Only was selected on the Trip Planner, air options will not be displayed To view more flight options, click on the More Best Value Flights or More General Flights links located below the flight details. To change your air search criteria, select the Air Planner link. To make a hotel selection, click on the View room(s) for this hotel link under the desired hotel to display additional room categories and pricing. Note: The Air and Hotel availability screen will be bypassed if specific hotel(s) were selected in the Trip Planner screen. 3
Air and Room Availability A listing of applicable room categories at the selected hotel will be returned. The Package inclusions, Package Type and Inventory for each room category is displayed along with the per person pricing. 4
To select a room category click on the Add to Trip button under the desired room category and package type. Optional Add-On Features Hotel and destination add-ons will be displayed if offered at the selected hotel and/or destination. If no add-ons are desired, click on the Continue with no add-ons link located at the top or bottom of screen. Select desired add on features using the check box and selecting the passengers desiring the features. Click on Add to Trip. 5
Rental Cars A listing of car types and inventory will be displayed if offered at the select destination. Car prices may include Tax Included, Never Lost, and No Tax Included, depending on the destination and car company. Refer to the header for the types of cars being offered. To select a car, click on Add to Trip under the desired car type. Trip Work Area The Trip Work Area contains the detailed itinerary components for this trip, along with the package pricing. The itinerary can be changed or finalized on this screen. 6
To Book this trip, select the package with or without insurance and click on Book located under the pricing area. Passenger Information and Finalize Add passenger names as Last Name followed by the First Name. Add children names next to the appropriate age field and select Miss or Mstr. Enter your client s contact number (preferably home number). The client contact number will be placed in the airline s passenger name record (PNR) in the event the carrier needs to contact them. Click on Finalize to complete the reservation. 7
W3 Segment - viewing the consolidated itinerary: When the booking is complete, will send a W3 segment to the Galileo server and display a confirmation page with both the TI booking number and the Apollo/Galileo Record Locator. Display the Record Locator. Click on Itinerary and Go to view the consolidated itinerary in Focalpoint e-agent. Click on Itinerary to return to Viewpoint. Click on Web Bookings to see the W3 segment. Payment: From the W3 segment, Click here for more information. You will be returned to the website. Click the Payments button, to post a Credit Card payment to any of your ' bookings. If your booking does not have insurance, you will have the opportunity to click the Add Insurance button on the Payments page. Enter the booking number in the window that appears and hit enter to reach the Payments page. Modify Booking: From the W3 segment, Click here to update. You will be returned to the Travel Impressions website. You will be able to modify several segments of your existing e- Booking on the Modify Workarea page. Once there is money or guarantee on the booking, you will be charged a Revision Fee to modify if your gross remains the same or decreases. 8
will send an updated W3 segment to Galileo. Cancel Booking From the W3 segment, Click here to cancel. You will be returned to the Travel Impressions website. If no payments have been applied to the booking, hit OK and your booking will be cancelled. Other Services Click Order Brochures to place an order for our current brochures. If your computer has Adobe Acrobat Reader, click Advertisement Library and you can view TI s major faxes and newspaper ads. Select the region on the map and the name of the fax or ad to download it. Under Update Agent Profile, you can click Change Password to create a new password. (Note: Your new password must be a minimum of 7 lower case characters and contain at least 1 number.) Here you can also set a preferred gateway for the booking engine and subscribe or unsubscribe to enews - email News & Promotions. To start a Group Booking, click Request Quote for Group Travel and fill out the form. Post Departure Support from our Customer Care Group. Log issues and check the status of an existing issue. Booking Search is available to view any booking made through LeisureShopper, by telephone, or through another GDS. Enter the booking number in the Access Booking field or do a Name Search to display your booking. (Note: Only non-archived bookings will be available.) Note: If a booking made through another source is modified through the e-agent browser to the site, you will not receive a W3 segment. W3 segments are created only for bookings that originate in e-agent.
