ceramic pro strong Ceramic PRO Strong is the latest technology from Nano Shine LTD. Ceramic PRO Strong is a clear liquid which transforms into a ridged, scratch resistant thin glass film once cured protecting the substrate it is applied to permanently. Ceramic Pro Strong is designed as an industrial multi-functional protective coating for all surfaces. The nano glass film forms a strong and durable barrier, resistant to solvents, acids, alkalis, UV rays, harsh weather conditions and corrosion. Its features create surfaces that have a repellent effect on grease, dirt and graffiti. Ceramic PRO strong has an easy-to-clean property insuring any remnants of such materials are easily removed. Strong is being used on pipelines, steel structures, rims, marine vessels, facades, windows, airplanes, oil rigs, public transportation, building materials, natural stone, road signs, outdoor furniture, glass, wood etc.

the new face of heavy industry temperature The coating can be applied in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit. Once cured, the coating provides protection from extreme temperatures ranging from -50 to 2,200 Degrees Fahrenheit. oxidation & corrosion resistant Ceramic Pro protects paint and metal from coming into contact with water and oxygen preventing oxidation and corrosion. The ASTM B117 Salt Spray Corrosion Test provides a controlled corrosive environment which has been utilized to produce relative corrosion resistance information for specimens of metals and coated metals exposed in a given test chamber. The chemical tests conducted by SGS and internally are: 5% salt spray for 350 hours with results of no visible damage, as well as 5% salt spray for 5000 hours with no visible damage (internal test). chemical resistance The coating has 100% resistance against damaging contaminants and harsh chemicals. Once cured, the only way to remove the coating is through heavy abrasion. The chemicals tested and conducted by SGS include: JIS K5400 Alkali, Acids and Salt. This test method identifies how well the coating resists sodium carbonate, sulfuric acid and sodium chloride despite heavy exposure. Result: 5% Na2CO3 for 24 hours: No visible damage, 5% H2SO4 for 24 hours: No visible damage, and 5% NaCL for 96 hours: No visible damage.

flexibility Strong has proven to be a perfect coating for surfaces that are exposed to expansion and deformation. The test conducted by the SGS is the Mandrel Bend Test (ASTM D522 test). This test is useful in evaluating the flexibility of coatings on substrates. Result: 0 mm of coating loss at 180 rotation. hardness In the coating industry a products hardness or ability to resist scratches is determined by the pencil test. In the Pencil test conducted by SGS (JIS K5400) a coated panel is placed on a firm horizontal surface. The pencil is held firmly against the film at a 45 angle (pointed away from the operator) and pushed away from the operator in a 0.256-inch strokes. On a scale ranging from 6B (softest) to 9H (hardest), Strong has been tested and classified above 9H. impact In the Impact resistance testing conducted by SGS (ASTM D2794 test) coatings attached to substrates are subjected to damaging impacts during the manufacture of articles and their use in service. This test method for impact resistance is useful in predicting the performance of organic coatings and their ability to resist cracking caused by impacts. Result: 80/80 inch pounds.

adhesion The test conducted by SGS is the ASTM D3359 Adhesion test. This test covers procedures for assessing the adhesion of coating films to metallic substrates by applying and removing pressure-sensitive tape over cuts made in the film. Result: 5B (No coating loss when using strongest tape). UV protection The UV protection keeps paint, rubber and plastic from aging. The tests conducted by SGS; ASTM G154-06 and ASTM D2244 determine color changes on surfaces exposed to UV rays. Result: No color change heat transfer The coatings ability to transfer heat is very high. (I.e. its ability to insulate is low). viscosity The viscosity of a fluid is a measure of its resistance to gradual deformation by shear stress or tensile stress. Large number cup sizes are used when viscosity is high, while low number cup sizes are used when viscosity is low: Result from test #2 12-14 seconds: Light consistency (that of water, alcohol). weight A cured layer of Strong weighs between 0.2 to 1 gram/square foot depending on porousness of the surface. hydrophobicity A surface level of hydrophobia is dependent on the water contact angle of the surface. The higher angle the less dirt or liquid will attach to the surface. Strong 2.0 has a contact angle of at least 110 degrees. electrical resistivity The coatings ability to conduct electricity in room temperature is extremely low. With higher temperatures the conductivity increases.

gloss or color changes The coating does not always increase gloss. It preserves the shine of a surface at the time of treatment. Color and shine depend on the surface being treated. sgs The tests have been conducted by SGS. SGS is the world s largest and leading inspection, verification, testing and certification company trusted by millions. toxicity test Strong is a non-toxic product and the tests that have been conducted by SGS are: ASTM F963-08 (4,3,5) Heavy Metal Lead, Antimony, Arsenic, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium, Mercury, Selenium. Result: Not detected in all tested substances. ECHA REACH test Ceramic Pro Strong has been tested against 144 substances of very high concern (SVHC) screening. SVHC candidate list based on the publication by European Chemicals Agency (ECHA) on June 2013. Result: Not detected in all tested substances. VOC Ceramic Pro Strong is VOC compliant at 5.2 g/liter.

successful applications military Strong is used across all branches of the military to protect surfaces exposed to harsh environments. It protects high value assets ranging from sensors and cameras to offshore equipment and fighter jets from scratches, icing and corrosion. marine Strong is used to protect all surfaces above and below the water. Above, the coating will protect the paint from fading, scratches, exhaust and dirt. It will protect surfaces from corrosion and allow stainless steel to remain stainless. Below, it is being used to coat marine vessels. Once applied, the surface becomes non-stick preventing growth from adhering to the hull. (Less water friction = less fuel consumption). windows & facades The coating protects the surface from hard water, calcium build up, watermarks, sand and dirt. The water that hits the surface beads and rolls off taking the dirt with it, giving the surface a self-cleaning property. oil Strong is used to protect pipelines from corrosion as well as on oil rigs to lower maintenance costs. The surface gets so slick that dirt, oil and debris does not stick. This dramatically reduces maintenance cost.

marble Strong on treated marble gets glossy and very liquid repellent. Once applied it protects the surface from all sorts of stains, scratches and at the same time allows the stone to breath. There is no need for waxes or sealants once the product is applied. The longevity is multiple years. wood Strong can be applied to most wood surfaces. It can be used instead of oils, stains and sealants. The coating prevents UV rays and water from damaging the surface. trucks & excavators The coating on these vehicles protects the exterior from all sorts of abuse and lowers maintenance costs substantially. Concrete trucks become easy to clean as it prevents the concrete from sticking to the beams or mixer. nuclear Stainless steel is not always stainless. Our coating bonds to stainless steel and gives it additional protection and gloss when needed. anti-graffiti Train cars and wall paintings are targets for graffiti painters around the world. working method Strong can be applied with air guns, brushes or sponges. When working on surfaces where gloss is a factor, a wipe off procedure can be used to remove residue and avoid spots and streaks. surface preparation The preparation of a substrate is crucial for maximum adhesion and performance. Swedish Standard (SIS 055900) Sa 2.5 - Sa 3: Blast cleaning is used to visually clean steel. The surface should be completely free from oil, grease, mill scale and rust. Steel Structures Painting Council, USA SSPC SP 5: When viewed without magnification, the surface shall be free of all visible oil, grease, dust, dirt, mill scale, rust, coating, oxides, corrosion products and other foreign matter. Surface Profile (Anchor pattern) The height of surface profile (average peak to valley depth) is a factor in the performance of various coatings applied to steel. Strong is suitable for surfaces between 1 and 30 microns. curing condition Allow Strong to air dry (ambient curing). Parts will be tack free after approximately 30 to 120 minutes. Until this point the coating is still wet and care should be taken to not bump or touch the parts. Parts will be partially cured after 24 hours and fully cured 5 to 7 days after application. The curing time can be reduced by the use of infrared heaters. Do not expose the surface to water within the first 24 hours. storage Ceramic PRO Strong is one component material, without any catalyst needed for curing. It can keep stable in room temperature eliminating the need for cold storage. The shelf life under room temperature is 3 years in the original closed packaging and 1 year once opened.
