BW Gas BW has been involved in LNG shipping since the early 1970s. In the early 2000s, expanded LNG activities to take advantage of growth in LNG transportation, securing a number of longer term charters. Most recent growth has been through the deliveries of two LNG carriers and one Floating Storage Regasification Unit (FSRU). Current fleet comprises of 21 vessels, 18 vessels in operation and 3 newbuildings. Of the 21 vessels, 19 of them are LNG carriers whilst two of them are FSRUs. BW is focused on growing long-term relationships within the LNG industry and vessels are under contracts with quality customers such as Egas, Engie, NLNG, Pavilion Gas, Sinopec and Sonatrach.
