earth friendly chemistry Application Instructions 1. Apply EP Concrete Block Sealer once structure has been surveyed for any repairs required. 2. Use a low-pressure sprayer (Back -pack type) or any spray, operated at 20 Psi. back roll any excess into surface. 3. Spray entire surface area using approximately 1 Litre per 4 5 m2 apply second coat within 30 to 45 min, second coat is critical. 4. Critical that any missing mortar and cracks are repaired prior to sealing we recommend EP Bondex used in repair mortar. E P Concrete Block Sealer is best applied by spray method; this is not only fast and effective but also gives the correct application rate. Allow several days for completion of curing process and penetration. Allow to dry completely prior to the application of paint if that is desired. EP Concrete Block Sealer will provide a long lasting, problem free bond for paints, prevents peeling, blistering and cracking. E P Concrete Block Sealer will not harm glass, tile or aluminium.

PRODUCT USES: For industrial, commercial, and residential use, on concrete block work. H- Series blocks are best as they conform a continuous solid concrete structure once core filled. Series Concrete Blocks with solid ends are subject to minor cracks and shrinking mortar, extra care is required to provide a complete waterproofed structure. 5. JOB LIMITATIONS: Apply in good weather when air and surface temperature are above 7 Degrees C Temp must remain above 7 C for 24 hours after application. For optimum application properties, materials should be between 15 to 28 C prior to application. Maintain unused material in closed containers in protected storage at 4 to 38 C 6. SURFACE APPLICATION: DO NOT STORE IN DIRECT SUNLIGHT. Good surface preparation is essential to a satisfactory coating. Surfaces to be coated should be clean and dry. Remove all dirt, dust, oil, grease, rust, mildew and loose or cracked paint or other contamination by first cleaning with EP Cleaning Products. Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry.

H-SERIES BLOCKS are the preferred type for waterproofing Once core filled they provide a continuous run of concrete Edge Type blocks are also preferred. Similar end results as H- Block once core filled. Series 200 etc. are NOT the preferred block to waterproof as the large end area of Concrete can dry out the mortar too quickly and leave a hair line crack. On the opposing end block, this causes no concerns in the structural strength Of the structure but can be a problem in waterproofing. In all cases the structure MUST be core filled with concrete slurry.
