JOB PLACEMENT INFORMATION We will make every effort to place you in your first choice if there is a current opening. As business needs dictate, you may be required to work in another department at times due to machines being down, slow orders, etc. Do not list if you do not want to work in that department. Open positions are most always for 3 rd shift Machine Operators or 3 rd shift Finishing Room. We rarely have openings in other departments. Choose from the following Departments for your choices: Machine Operator, Maintenance, Finishing, Warehouse and Office. When are you available for work? Machine Operator Physical Job Requirements Minimum Salary You will accept (If your required minimum exceeds our start rate excessively, you won t be contacted.) $ Lifts totes weighing up to 45 pounds constantly and changing molds that weigh 100 # throughout the day. Uses repetitive hand motion emptying and filling molds. (Squeezing as you pull bulbs out of molds ). Spends all of their work time standing in one area working on a machine that is on a timer. Machine Room has 3 machines with ovens to bake the bulbs. Room temp ranges from 90 F 105 F. Ear protection is required in the Machine Room due to the noise level to prevent hearing loss. Finishing Department Physical Job Requirements Lifts totes/boxes weighing up to 45 pounds throughout the day when moving work around. Uses repetitive hand motion (squeezing & twisting bulbs ). Spends the majority of their work time sitting in a fast paced environment. Will look for imperfections on bulbs that can be somewhat small at times as they are worked. Mold Cleaner / Maintenance Physical Job Requirements Mold Cleaners or maintenance personnel may be required to lift up to 75 pounds throughout the day. At times, this person will be working in the Machine Room that is occupied by 3 machines with ovens that bake the bulbs. Temperatures normally range from 90 F 95 F in this room. At times, you will be required to wear ear protection due to the noise level to prevent hearing loss. At times, you will be required to wear eye protection while using certain equipment. Warehouse / Shipping Physical Job Requirements Lifts totes/boxes weighing up to 45 pounds constantly. Spends all their work time standing and walking. Packaging spends 1/2 their time sitting and 1/2 standing and walking. Office /Management Job Requirements Will spend the majority of their work time sitting. Occasionally lifts up to 45 pounds if helping in the warehouse or with supplies.
