In the meantime your switch will take place and you will receive the appropriate non direct debit discounts. 1 Year Home Electricity Key Product Terms & Conditions - 1 year fixed term contract 1. These terms apply to the 1 Year Home Electricity discount tariff ( Tariff ). 2. The Tariff is only available to new SSE Airtricity domestic electricity customers in Northern Ireland who have a credit meter. 3. These terms are in addition to the SSE Airtricity s Standard Terms and Conditions for the Supply of Electricity to Metered Premises ( SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions ) (as may be amended from time to time and which can be found on our website at sseairtricity.com or obtained by calling 0345 601 4321) and the SSE Airtricity s Customer Agreement Form ( CAF ). Collectively these terms, the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions and the CAF are referred to as the ( Agreement ). 4. In the event of any conflict between these terms, the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions and the CAF, these terms will apply. 5. Your discounts are set out in the table overleaf ( Tariff Discounts ) and are calculated by reference to the SSE Airtricity standard tariff ( SSE Airtricity Standard ) which may be amended from time to time during the Term but this will not affect your Tariff Discount. Your Tariff Discounts will be applied from the date that SSE Airtricity is registered as your supplier and will continue for a period of one (1) calendar year from that date ( Term ). 6. You may cancel the Tariff during the period of 14 calendar days from when the contract information is sent to you following your sign-up for this Tariff ( Cancellation Period ) by writing to us by post or email or by contacting us on 0345 601 0229 and no termination charge will apply. You may use the cancellation form provided to you but you do not have to. However, if you leave the Tariff after the cancellation period, or the Agreement is ended by you at any time before the end of Term, you will be charged a termination charge of 40. This will be applied to your account. If you cancel a direct debit, a 125 deposit will be added to your account. 7. After the expiration of the Term or if you leave the Tariff before the end of the contract, your SSE Airtricity account will be switched to the SSE Airtricity Standard electricity rates applicable at that time. 8. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to amend the electricity unit rates or charges that apply to the Tariff at any time during the Term if there is a cost to SSE Airtricity imposed by a governmental or statutory body (including a change in VAT) or as otherwise provided for in the SSE Airtricity General Terms & Conditions. 9. The Tariff Discounts may not be used in conjunction with any other SSE Airtricity electricity offer, discount or tariff. 10. SSE Airtricity reserves the right to withdraw the Tariff without notice at any time prior to the start of the Term.
