B Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online Setup Guide usinesses are always looking to increase efficiency and productivity. When your clients get to compare different CRM solutions, they will soon find out that most of them don t integrate with the other apps they use daily. Sure, most solutions have an Outlook add-on, but the customer lifecycle needs more than some email-related features. Dynamics CRM is made to fully and seamlessly integrate with Office 365, minimizing the hassle of moving in and out of different apps to accomplish tasks such as data analytics, social selling, collaboration or document sharing The result is a CRM that integrates with Excel, Skype, SharePoint, OneDrive, OneNote and even more, making more tools available to your customers. By offering both CRM Online and Office 365 to your customers, you ll position yourself as a trusted advisor to their productivity and collaboration initiative. Plus, CRM Online can be a great incentive to move to Office 365 A CRM Online subscription is not included as one of the Office 365 applications such as Exchange Online or SharePoint Online. You can significantly enhance your company s online, collaborative experience by integrating CRM Online with your Office 365 subscription. However, that requires a separate purchase. Your organization can sign up to use Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online for a 30-day trial from your Office 365 Administration page. Add a Microsoft Dynamics CRM trial subscription 1. Browse to https://portal.microsoftonline.com, and sign in with your global administrator credentials. 2. On your Office 365 Admin Overview page, under Subscriptions, click Purchase.

3. On the Purchase subscriptions page, click Trial for the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online add-on for Office 365 subscription. 4. On the Checkout page, click Try now. 5. On the Order receipt page, click Continue. A Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription will then be added to your Office 365 subscription. It may take from several minutes to several hours to complete the new subscription.

Note The trial lasts for 30 days, which begins on the day you activate the account. Once the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online subscription is added, CRM appears at the top of the Admin Overview page. Some initial configuration is necessary before you can access your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial. Prepare your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial 1. Click CRM at the Admin Overview page. 2. On the Let's get your trial customized to your needs page make any changes necessary and then click Complete setup. A new page will appear with a Setting up indication. Once your Microsoft Dynamics CRM organization is ready, CRM Online will launch automatically.

Now, your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online trial is ready for use. Bookmark the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online webpage for quicker access.

O xrm1 Solution Setup Guide nce your Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online system is ready, then it s time to start importing the xrm1 Solution and setting up your environment. Import xrm1 Solution You can import solutions manually using the steps below. 1. Go to Settings > Solutions. 2. In the solutions list menu choose Import. 3. In the Import Solution dialog, Select Solution Package step browse to the compressed (.zip or.cab) file that contains the solution you want to import. 4. Choose Next 5. You can view information about the solution before you choose Import. 6. You may need to wait a few moments while the solution import completes. If it is successful, you can view the results and choose Close.

If you have imported any changes that require publishing, you must publish customizations before they will be available. See Publishing customizations for more information. If the import isn t successful, you will see a report showing any errors or warnings that were captured. You can choose Download Log File to capture details about what caused the import to fail. The most common cause for a solution import to fail is that the solution did not contain some required solution components. When you download the log file, you will find an XML file that you can open using Microsoft Office Excel and view the contents. Activate & License xrm1 Solution Once your xrm1 Solution is successfully imported, then it s time to start activating and licensing your solution 1. Go to Settings > Solutions. 2. In the solutions page click on XRM1 Activation Wizard. 3. The activation wizard will guide you in 5 steps to upload your valid license, and choose the right module (CRM- Project, HR, ) 4. Select the option that matches your licensing status; Trial, Temporary License, Full License

5. If you choose Trial, your xrm1 Solution will be valid for 14 days. For Temporary License and Full License, you will be required to upload your license before activation. 6. Select all the solutions that fall within your license model 7. In the Basic Settings and Basic Data window, you will be asked if you would like to have some sample data and settings applied to your xrm1 Solution. For details about these settings, click on the links in the window.

Once your solution is active, you can start doing some basic configuration Configure xrm1 Solution 1. Go to Settings > Solutions. 2. Open the solution xrm1. 3. In the Configuration of xrm1 window, change/add the settings needed in the appropriate section. 4. In the Licensing section, you can check your license status, upload licenses, and check your Unique Organization ID.

In the Global section, the administrator can define what level of logging is needed Assign licenses to users Once your xrm1 Solution is configured, then it s time to assign xrm1 licenses to your users 1. Go to Settings > License Assignment. 2. From the Command Bar, click New. 3. In the XRM1 License Assignment form, fill in the User who will be assigned the license, and the License Type that will be assigned to him/her

Now, users can login to Microsoft Dynamics CRM and use the xrm1 solution according to the type of License assigned to them.
