Detection of Extremely Small Objects The high definition light barriers offer precision resolution of just 2 mm. This ensures that even very small, low-profile objects are reliably detected.
Discover an Unlimited Range of Applications Object Measurement Web Edge Control The diameter of a tree trunk is measured in order to adjust the machine ideally for bark removal. The light barrier detects lateral motion of the paper web. It determines whether it is within tolerance and readjusts if necessary. Height Inspection Height Measurement The height of cartons being transported by a conveyor belt is checked. The cartons can thus be sorted by size, and defective ones can be sorted out. Position Detection Pallet stacking height is measured so that the stretch wrapping machine can be correctly adjusted to the corresponding height. Detecting Extremely Small Parts Before being fed to the packaging machine, individual cartons are checked for correct positioning. Objects with extremely low profiles or irregular shapes are detected as they fall from a machine or a conveyor belt.
