(5 marks) Name FIVE (5) fundamentally different properties of a protein molecule which can be used in a purification scheme. For each property, name one technique which uses it for separation. 2. [a] Using a diagram describe the mechanism of affinity chromatography. There are two methods to measure protein concentration, ultraviolet spectrophotometer and calorimetric. Describe the principle of the two methods. 3. [a] When cells are grown in a batch reactor, they go through a series of stages. Using a diagram, name and describe the stages involve. [d] Analisis kepekatan mrna insulin dalam sel individu berpenyakit kencing manis (diabetes) dan individu normal. (20 markah) 5. [a] Jujukan genom manusia yang sedia ada adalah jujukan DNA daripada berbagai individu. Terangkan dua sebab mengapa penjujukan genom individu sangat diperlukan.
