If overexposed to dust, remove victim to fresh air & get medical attention Wash dust from skin with soap & water. Launder contaminated clothing If dust is swallowed, seek medical attention Flush eyes thoroughly with water, holding open eyelids. Get medical 4.2 Signs and Symptoms of Exposure: Use may generate dust that may cause eye & respiratory tract irritation. Dust may be harmful by inhalation & ingestion SECTION 5 Fire Fighting Measures 5.1 Means of Extinction: Use any media appropriate for the surrounding fire 5.2 Unusual Fire or Explosion Hazards: This product is not combustible, consideration must be given to the potential fire/explosion hazards from the base material being processed. Many materials create flammable/explosive dusts or turnings when brushed, machined or ground. 5.3 Special Fire Fighting procedures: Toxic fumes may occur. Use respiratory protective equipment. SECTION 6 Accidental release measures Pick up, sweep up or vacuum any dust, place in a container for disposal. Use of gloves to clean up is recommended SECTION 7 Storage, Handling and Use Procedures Use only with adequate ventilation. Store in a dry location SECTION 8 Personal Protective Control Measures Page 2

Before use risk assessment should be performed and individual protection measures adopted accordingly. 8.1 Exposure Limits: Keep limits of the following components under surveillance (Observe the regional official regulations for dust Ingredients OSHA / PEL ACGIH / TLV Iron No exposure limit established No exposure limit established Carbon 15 mg/m3 Manganese 5 mg/m3 0.2 mg/m3 Phosphorus 0.1 mg/m3 0.1 mg/m3 Silicon 5 mg/m3(respirable) 5 mg/m3(respirable) Sulfur 13 mg/m3 (as SO2) 0.25 ppm (as SO2) Lead 0.5 mg/m 0.5 mg/m3 Vanadium 0.5 mg/m3 (as V2O5) 0.5 mg/m3 (as V2O5) Chromium 1 mg/m3 0.5 mg/m3 Optional Coatings Ingredients OSHA / PEL ACGIH / TLV Petroleum Distillates 5 mg/m3 (as oil mist) 5 mg/m3 (as oil mist) Phosphate Borax 10 mg/m3 1 mg/m3 Lime 15 mg/m3 Drawing Lubricant 10 mg/m3 10 mg/m3 Note: Hazardous dust of work piece material may be generated during use of power brushes 8.2 Exposure control and limitations 8.2.1 Exposure control and limitations of the work environment Observe the regional official regulations for dust 8.2.1.1 Respiratory Protection: Use respiratory equipment 8.2.1.2 Hand Protection: Wear protective gloves 8.2.1.3 Eye Protection: Wear protective goggles or face shield over safety glasses with side shields 8.2.1.4 Hearing Protection: Use hearing protection Page 3

acids 10.3 Hazardous decomposition products: Dust from brushing & grinding could contain ingredients listed in Section 3 and other potentially more hazardous components of the base material being worked. SECTION 11 Toxicological Information Likely Route of Exposure: Inhalation, skin, eyes. Product as shipped does not present an inhalation hazard; however subsequent operations may create dusts or fumes which could be inhaled. Eyes: Dust may cause eye irritation. Dust particles may cause abrasive injury to the eyes. Skin Contact: None expected under normal use conditions. Rubbing product across the skin may cause mechanical irritation or abrasions. Inhalation: Dust may cause respiratory irritation. May be harmful by inhalation. Prolonged inhalation may cause lung damage. Ingestion: None expected under normal use conditions. May be harmful if swallowed. Acute Toxicity: Reproductive Toxicity: Not expected to cause reproductive toxicity. Carcinogenicity: None of the components of this product are listed as a carcinogen or potential carcinogen by OSHA, NTP or IARC. Germ Cell Mutagenicity: Not expected to be a mutagen Repeat Exposure: Long-term overexposure to respirable dust may cause lung damage (fibrosis) with symptoms of coughing, shortness of breath and diminished breathing capacity. Chronic effects may be aggravated by smoking. Prolonged exposure to elevated noise levels during operations may affect hearing. A greater hazard, in most cases, is the exposure to the dust/fumes from the material or paint/coatings being brushed. Most of the dust generated during brushing is from the base material being brushed and the potential hazard from this exposure must be evaluated. SECTION 12 Ecological Information 12.1 Eco toxicity: This product contains ingredients that are toxic to aquatic organisms with long lasting effects. 12.2 Mobility: No potentials known 12.3 Persistence and degradability: No biodegradable potentials known 12.4 Bio accumulative potential: No potentials known 12.5 Other hazardous effects: No effects known 13.1 Product 13.2 Packing Follow national and regional regulations Follow national and regional regulations SECTION 13 Disposal Considerations SECTION 14 Transport Information Page 5
