The 8 th IFIP International Conference on Computer and Computing Technologies in Agriculture (8 th CCTA) The 8 th International Conference on Intelligent Detection Information & Computing Application Technologies (8 th IFIT) September 16-19, 2014 Beijing China
BACKGROUND In recent years, Modern Information Technology and Intelligent Equipment Technique are infiltrating to the entire process of the pre-inter-post production of agricultural production, which is becoming an important means of transforming traditional agriculture and developing modern agriculture. The worldwide leading scientists have carried out academic research and practice on computer application in agriculture, intelligent agricultural information technology, the Internet of Things (IOT) and intelligent equipment technology. It is continuous to develop new theories, new methods, new techniques and new produces in the field of Agricultural IOT and Smart Agriculture, 3S Technology and Precision Agriculture, as well as Intelligent Sensing and Control. This international academic exchange plays an important role in improving the innovation and development capability in intelligent agricultural information technology and in promoting the wide application of the IOT and Compute Technology. In order to promote the exchange and the cooperation among scientific and technical workers of multiple sectors and academic fields, and to strengthen the international academic exchange, the 8 th IFIP International Conference on Computer and Computing Technologies in Agriculture (8 th CCTA) and the 8 th International Conference on Intelligent Detection Information & Computing Application Technologies (8 th IFIT) will be held by Zhejiang University, China Agricultural University, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Mechanization Sciences, Chinese Academy of Agricultural Engineering, Beijing Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Science, East China Jiaotong University. The symposium is to provide an academic platform for the integration of informationization with agricultural modernization, to share new research theories, methods and achievements of sci-tech innovation and industrial technology progress and to promote the understanding and cooperation among the international communities and scientists.
