DOE enterprise includes Program Offices, Power Marketing Administrations, Plants, Site Offices and National Laboratories of approximately 110,000 people, and 85 facilities spread across 27 states. The conference enables DOE leadership to deliver their message in-person, in an interactive forum that provides the opportunity for communication and collaboration. It provides a dynamic platform to share information that supports the Department s success in achieving its critically important national security and ensuring mission success. The goals are to convene the brightest minds from across the extended DOE Enterprise to interact with key speakers and presenters from federal interagency, academia, private sector, and international arena that are dynamic thought leaders in cyber. The OCIO seeks to establish an inclusive, transparent, and collaborative environment that will engender information sharing and information safeguarding best practices, prompt dialog that will further the Department's cyber mission, and foster partnerships. The conference will enhance the Department s cyber efforts by integrating cybersecurity coordination, harnessing the depth of technical expertise across DOE, removing redundancy, and leveraging cyber resources enterprise-wide. Additionally, we are investing in DOE cyber workforce, the most critical elements in effectively addressing threats and developing technology solutions to meet national challenges. Participation as a supporter or exhibitor in the DOE Cyber Conference does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by the U.S. Department of Energy. Attendance The expected attendance at the 2018 DOE Cyber Conference is between 600-800. Exhibitors and sponsors will receive a special link to register their staff. All passes must be used before the online registration cut-off date of June 3, 2018. Additional cost for each booth representative over the allotted free badges is $275 (price is subject to change). Exhibitor and sponsor attendee can attend conference sessions if space is available.
