The Abu Dhabi Accountability Authority (ADAA) was established on 18th December, 2008 as an independent supreme audit authority reporting directly to His Highness the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, replacing the Financial Audit Authority established in 1985. One of our most strategic objectives is to train and develop UAE National graduates. Accordingly ADAA developed the Emirati Auditor Development Program, which is designed as a fast track, all-encompassing opportunity that takes young Emirati applicants such as yourself from an entry level Assistant Auditor all the way to a Chief Auditor over a period of 7 years. Beyond 6a rich and multifaceted experience portfolio, these 7 years will see you acquiring additional qualifications as either a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA). The program is open to graduates of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance. Being a tightly knit team, you ll notice that everyone enjoys an incredible amount of personal support and positive reinforcement. ADAA was established in 2008 to: Ensure Public Entities resources and funds are managed, collected and expended efficiently, effectively, economically, and ethically. Ensure accuracy of the financial reports and compliance of the Public Entities with the relevant laws, rules and regulations, and governance guidelines. Promote accountability and transparency across all Public Entities. WE HAVE TWO MAJOR BUSINESS GROUPS Financial Audit and Examination Group whose role is to provide assurance on the accuracy of the Government s Consolidated Financial Statements and the Financial Statements issued by Subject Entities. Performance and Risk Assurance Group whose job is to ensure that Subject Entities resources and funds are managed, collected, and expended efficiently, effectively, and economically, and in compliance with the relevant laws and regulations, and governance rules. 07 / 08
Who We Recruit In order to maintain a high level of personal attention and quality, we only accept 10 graduate trainees a year. So upon joining us, you ll discover that you re part of an extremely select group of unique individuals. You will need to have attained a Bachelor s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics or Finance with a GPA of at least 3.0. In addition, you need at least 120 credit hours of study for the CPA out of which 20 credit hours should be in accounting. You will also have to possess a strong command of the English language, as evidenced by a recent (within the last two years) IELTS grading of at least 5.5. Beyond academics, you ll have to display a number of standout personal qualities that show your ability to manage conflicts, collaborate with colleagues and fulfill goals and responsibilities. We re looking for a special breed of Assistant Auditor. We accept professionals with anything from 0 to 3 years of work experience for this program. How We Our process involves the following steps: Stage 1 - Application Stage 2 - Initial Interview Stage 3 - Psychometric & Ability Assessments Stage 4 - Panel Interview Recruit Upon completing the application form and meeting the education criteria as detailed previously, you ll be invited to attend a preliminary competency-based interview that determines your aptitudes and competencies. This is also your opportunity to ask questions about the scheme. If you are successful at Stage 2, you will be invited to Stage 3 which involves a psychometric questionnaire that gives us an indication of the type of person that you are, an ability test to check your analytical skills for verbal and numerical reasoning, and a BULATS English assessment. For the final stage of the process, successful candidates will be invited to attend a panel interview comprising a number of the ADAA senior management. 09 / 10

We offer internships on an annual basis to undergraduates who may be seeking employment experience. During an internship, trainees will be exposed to the different areas of ADAA, gaining a thorough understanding of the auditing profession and what one can expect as a Financial or Business Risk Auditor. To qualify for an internship, you need to be studying for a Bachelor s Degree in Accountancy, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance. Individuals who have completed an Internship and prove to have the qualities we re looking for will be considered favorably for the Emirati Audit Development Program. 15 / 16
