Ngày 31/8/2017 tại Tỉnh Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu, Cục Hàng hải Việt Nam phối hợp với Tổng công ty Tân Cảng Sài Gòn tổ chức cuộc họp với các doanh nghiệp khai thác cảng, doanh nghiệp sản xuất, xuất nhập khẩu tại Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu Các giải pháp khuyến khích các chủ hàng XNK tại khu vực Vũng Tàu, Đồng Nai và các khu vực lân cận trực tiếp giao nhận hàng tại các bến cảng khu vực Cái Mép - Thị Vải. Thành lập trung tâm logistics tại Vũng Tàu
