The simplified and straightforward desig results in higher reliability and lower maintenance. 100 % dustfree discharging This is J-Tec s standard Big Bag discharge clamp, consisting of a single pipe. It is manually operated and has to be mounted underneath an existing Big Bag support plate. There is no need for an aspiration connection, as the sealing system itself is intrinsically dust-tight. Deaeration is to be implemented on the receptacle underneath. The mounting plate is suited to fit our J-Tec components ø 500 mm. Big Bag Discharge Clamp Stand-alone unit Big Bag FOOD Discharge clamp Pneumatically actuated discharge clamp ComDis BB500.1 ComDis BB500.2 This stand-alone unit consists of a single pipe. It is manually operated and has a frame which serves as a fall protection to protect the hands of the operator, in case the Big Bag should fall. The mounting plate is suited to fit our J-Tec components ø 500 mm. As it is a stand-alone unit and therefore not mounted underneath an existing Big Bag support plate, it is easily exchangeable with other modules such as a bag dumping module (cfr our ComDis - Combined Discharging- line). J-Tec has designed a new Big Bag discharge clamp that meets the strictest hygienic standards. The system is user-friendly, can be implemented in all hygienic zones (Basic, Medium and High) and is easy to clean. It has no sharp corners, no external screw thread, and is entirely composed of smooth surfaces. All the hinges and sliding parts have bearings that are made of high perfor-mance polymers. They are grease and oil free and hermetically sealed (protected against waterjet). This discharge system can be polished according to the customer s wishes, and is available in SS304 and SS316. It can be implemented in a new installation, as well as in an existing installation. In this design the manual discharge clamps have been replaced by pneumatic actuators on both sides of the clamp seal. The clamp seal is lowered by means of a pneumatic cabinet to be operated by pushing two buttons (two-hand safety feature). The passive valve can be mounted on the inlet and/or the outlet of a container. The active valve is operated either manually or automatically. It is integrated into the filling or discharging side of the process station, and can be equipped with a diversity of options. When docking, the locking pins centre the active and passive valve on to each other. Both split valves open simultaneously after docking. During filling and discharging the product is fully contained under perfect conditions. DISCHARGING Vibrating bottom Discharge aid that breaks bridges in storage devices by vibrating. Used in the food industry, plastics, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, for powders as well as pellets. Designed according to CE standards. Functioning The vibratory bottom is placed at the outlet of a storage device : silo, storage hopper etc. The vibrating motor is regularly switched on. The bottom, brought into horizontal movement, transfers the vibrations to the bulk material. The material falls down evenly and reaches the outlet through the relief cone. The intensity of the vibrations induced by the motor can be regulated. Switching on the vibrating bottom temporarily is enough to ensure discharging. Switching off the vibratory motor will cause intense and long vibrations. It might be advisable in that case to install a brake device (optional). Some products will need switching of the poling of the motor, so the movements change directions (optional). Application This vibrating unit is used as discharge aid for poorly flowing bulk products. Placed at the bottom of the hopper, the vibrating unit ensures the even discharging of the product, following the principle first-in first-out.
