Microrite, Inc. brings you this unique learning experience in Understanding Microbiology Related Data Integrity Issues and Their Causes; Part of Microrite s step-by-step webinar series. Understanding Microbiology Related Data Integrity Issues and Their Causes In recent years there has been a significant increase in the number and types of data integrity issues that have been cited in both USFDA as well as MHRA auditors. In fact, data integrity issues have been on the forefront of all regulatory auditors. One of the areas prone to data integrity issues is the pharmaceutical Microbiology Laboratory. Microbiology testing is heavily scrutinized for data integrity; and an increasing number of companies have received 483 observations for fraudulent data. Though there is allowable variability in microbiological testing; there is a stark difference between variability, laboratory errors and fraudulent data. When? February 28 th, 2017 1:30pm to 3:30pm Eastern Daylight Time Which industries does this webinar apply to? Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Medical Device Who will benefit? Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Microbiology, Facilities, Materials, Manufacturing, Regulatory Affairs and Training Personnel

February 28 th, 2017 Benefits to the participants: Clear difference between microbiology laboratory error and fraudulent data Specific examples of laboratory errors Specific examples of fraudulent data 483 observations related to data integrity issues in the microbiology laboratory Discussion on instances where data is masked to cover up of systems issues Suggestions on how to identify these issues when auditing microbiology laboratories Who will be teaching? Ziva Abraham is the President and Founder of Microrite, Inc., a California based consulting firm providing consulting and training services to pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, medical devices and in vitro diagnostics in the areas of quality assurance, quality control, microbiology, and validation.
