Fabric expansion joints VM Kompensator A/S has been manufacturing flexible solutions for air and flue gas for over 25 years. The range of products was extended in 2008, to include fabric expansion joints, steel expansion joints and rubber compensators. The products in our range are used to absorb thermal extensions, vibrations and assembly shifts in channel and piping systems. Fabric expansion joints have to be designed for each specific application, depending on media, pressure and temperature and must be able to function within temperatures ranging from -40 to 1000 C, according to design. Areas of application encompass media from clean air to aggressive wet and dry flue gases. VM-KompensatorA/S uses only high quality raw materials, supplied by internationally-recognised suppliers worldwide VM-KompensatorA/S engineers multilayer fabric expansion joints that are pre-fitted to engineered steel units, which ensures rapid and correct installation in channel systems. When used in high temperature and high air speed environments, and for applications involving high dust content in the air, the design must be performed with a static or dynamic skirt, which prevents abrasion and the ingress of dust particles into the insulation and the compensator. Single layer expansion joints Produced for low temperature zones and must be designed in accordance with the specific demands that are present at the exact point where they are installed. Temperature - Gas speed Dust load - Pressure - Movements and Environment -must fit together to achieve optimum performance and long lifespan of the expansion joint. Temperature range -30 C to 250 C Coated Fabrics: PPE7 SILIGLAS NPG VITON Rubber Bellows: EPDM NITRIL -Designed and custom-made. Chem -Series For extreme environments and aggressive wet areas Temperatures range -72 C to 300 C PTFE based materials dip coated glass fabric with thin PTFE cross-layered cast films. VM-CHEM 100 VM-CHEM 200 VM-CHEM 300 VM-CHEM 802 Pure PTFE cast films cross-laminated. WM-CHEM foil 0.13 WM-CHEM foil 0.5 WM-CHEM foil 1.3 For gas cleaning and desulphurisation areas at power plants, chemical plants or production lines producing pure sulphur acids.

Multilayer expansion joints -For high temperature areas, but covering from -30 C to normally operating in the dry gas area from +150 C to +1000 C If your application involves high dust loads, such as cement works or ash conveyer systems, or just clean gases, VM250A VM400A - VM550A compensators will cover the most frequently-used applications In high temperature areas, such as smelting plants and Gas turbine areas, we have produced designs which ensure that our expansion joints have a long operational lifespan: VM550A-W- T - VM750A-W- T - VM1000A-W- T Bolsters (inside) -In designs for high temperature applications, bolsters are often required. -The different designs must be chosen according to the demands to the specific positions where they are installed. -The design of steel parts and movements produces the basic design, which determines if the bolster needs to be covered with wire-mesh according to temperature loads or gas velocity. VM-Bolster 550-750- 1000-MF/UF and VM-Bolster 550W-750W- 1000W-MF/UF Expansion joints pre-fitted On pre-made steel constructions, units are easy to install quickly and correctly into new or older ducting systems. -When pre-fitted, you can always be certain that everything is safe and secure and fits directly in between the duct parts. -flanges or welding ends -this will save you time and trouble

Service - 24 hours VM-Kompensator has many years of experience in the production and installation of expansion joints and we are well aware that expansion joints are a small but indispensable component in a plant, and that any shutdown of operations needs to be remedied right away. We are therefore available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year and we will do our utmost to get things working again, as soon as it is physically possible. Our service team members all have a minimum of 5-25 years of industry experience. Our fitters are well-accustomed to working independently, both nationally and internationally, often in conditions that are demanding and where access can be difficult. To avoid the inconvenience and expense of system shutdowns, we offer to conduct a survey of your plant and archive measurements, operating data, etc. so that we can take remedial action even more quickly. After an inspection of the plant s expansion joints, we then prepare a report about their condition so that replacements can be ordered in good time, allowing replacement to be implemented during a scheduled operation stop The replacement of all kinds of defective ducts from small side ducts to main ducts and boiler parts is also part of our business concept. Dialogue ensures the best technical and economic solution
