HMn LOW HYDROGEN ELECTRODE FOR HARD SURFACING Fe Cr Mo V EURO-TECH HMn is an excellent wear resistant tough surfacing electrode which is basic in composition with excellent welding characteristics. The electrode is suitable for welding in all positions and is economical. The weld metal is hard, tough and free from porosity with even beads. ABRASION RESISTANCE IMPACT RESISTANCE HARDNESS : 630 VPN-56 RC (as welded) For surfacing of parts like digger teeth, drills, conveyor screws. Punches, hot working dies, shear blades. Crusher hammers, crane wheels. Conveyor buckets, conveyor parts. Plough shares, cultivators. Pulverisers, skids, mixers, oil expellers. Surfacing manganese steel parts subjected to high abrasion. Amps 80-120 120-140 140-170 Clean weld area Preheat of 150ºC to 300ºC is recommended for heavy sections. Use stringer bead technique maintaining short medium arc. For base metals prone to cracking in the HAZ use EURO-TECH-S4 as a buffer layer. Do not allow the job to be overheated.

HAM BASIC COATED WORK HARDENING TYPE ELECTRODE Fe Mn Ni Cr C EURO-TECH HAM is a specially formulated electrode to give better results in surfacing austenitic manganese steels. The electrode produces weld which is work-hardening type. It also exhibits resistance to cracking and deformation during working. The weldment is resistant to wear even when exposed to impact and abrasion simultaneously. Impact Resistance HARDNESS : 240 VPN-21 RC(As Welded) 600 VPN-55 RC (After Work Hardening) For welding of manganese steel parts. Hard facing of crushing equipment. Excavator teeth, manganese steel rails and Beater mills. Crusher jaws and Crusher heads. Beater arms, gyratory crushers etc. Amps 100-120 110-130 140-170 Clean weld area Do not preheat manganese steels. Maintain short to medium arc. The inter pass temperature should not exceed 150 C. Use skip welding or back stepping techniques. It is advisable to weld the work piece in a water bath only the welding area sticking out of water. Cool slowly..

WORK HARDENING TYPE ELECTRODE 30C Fe Mn EURO-TECH 30C is a suitably formulated electrode to give better results in all positions for manganese steels. The electrode is suitable for depositing thick layers of crack-free weld which is workhardening type. The weld metal is resistant to high abrasion, deformation and cracking. Impact Resistance METAL RECOVERY : 140% HARDNESS : 240 VPN-21 RC(As Welded) 600 VPN-55 RC (After Work Hardening) Welding and surfacing of 14% manganese steels Armour steels, carbon steels. Welding hardened manganese steel. HCXC INCREASED METAL RECOVERY CHROMIUM CARBIDE Fe Cr C EURO-TECH HCXC is a heavy coated electrode best suited for depositing a layer of chromium carbide which is hard and wear resistant, having very high metal recovery. High Metal Recovery METAL RECOVERY : 130% HARDNESS : 800 VPN-64 RC The wide applications of this electrode include surfacing of heavy earth moving machinery parts such as bucket wheel excavator teeth, I.D. fan impellers, casings, cement and coal conveyor screws, pulverised coal bends, ash & coal handling pipes, coal nozzles, bucket edges, etc., Amps 100-120 120-150 150-190 Maintain short arc and stringer bead technique. Do not deposit more than two layers. If more than 2 layers are to be deposited use, EURO-TEC S12 (for steel), or EURO-TEC S8(for Mn Steel), or EURO-TEC CNI(for cast iron) as inter elastic layer.

Suitable for repairing and fabrication of cutting tools, blades, shears, dies, punches, etc., Suitable for tools, forge dies, hot working mandrels, punches, saddles, die casting moulds, valve seats, etc., Pump impellers and valves.
