5 CORROSION PROTECTION

E-coat offers a superior corrosion and chemical resistance when compared to conventional priming and painting methods. We chose to E-Coat our frame rails and liners because of its proven corrosion protection, its durability and versatility. E-Coat delivers a superior corrosion and chemical resistance, while maintaining a high-quality, resilient surface for paint of any color or finish. Operating out of one of the most expansive facilities in the nation, Oshkosh Corrosion Protection services feature E-Coat capabilities that other companies cannot match. Our 150,000 square foot facility is home to one of the country s largest Programmable Hoist Systems (PHS), as well as a state-of-the-art Slide Rail Square Transfer System (SST), which allows processing of parts of virtually all shapes and sizes. In addition to our capable systems, Oshkosh Corrosion Protection leverages expertise from Oshkosh s proven experience serving the Department of Defense. Our economic and efficient corrosion protection provides a durable resistance from the most severe conditions. Durable, consistent protection. Our Operations department is constantly focused on continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiencies on the FMTV manufacturing process. The end result has been truck and trailer components sent through E-Coat tanks and top coat booths on the same line under the same roof. This reduces lead times, product handling, and costs. 9 WELDING AND FABRICATION

Our engineers understand that demanding conditions require specialized and proprietary components. Oshkosh Welding and Fabrication utilizes precision laser cutting and high definition plasma cutting, as well as a complete shop for punching, forming and bending to produce the components that withstand the most challenging operating environments. With an experienced team of certified welders and high-tech welding robotics, our process provides superior service that surpasses industry standards. Oshkosh Welding and Fabrication uses the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process with the capabilities to weld a variety of products including armor, steel, aluminum and galvanized materials. Our internal fixture design and build capability enables the welding and fabrication service team to work with components from a diverse range of shapes, sizes and properties. These capabilities promote efficiency and innovation, and exemplify our proven history of deliveries on or ahead of schedule. Innovative, cutting-edge technology.
