ASMEF Monthly Newsletter February 2016 Issue ADCO has undertaken projects developing its marginal fields to expand sustainable crude oil production including projects in the Mender field, approximately 240 km south-southeast of Abu Dhabi. The Mender field as it is being developed, will have facilities designed to produce and handle sustainable and technical production from reservoirs Thamma Zone A & B and Lower Bab Mender. The 25 skids are segregated in the Mender field that will have gas stations (GS 1 & 2) where two skids with the dimensions of 20.2 meter (L) x 4.8meter (B) x 4.3 meter (H) with the dimensions of 16.1 meter (L) x 4.8 meter (B) x 4.3 meter (H), Oil Production Well (OPW) where 19 skids with the dimensions of 16.1 meter (L) x 4.8 meter (B) x 4.3 meter (H) and Water Supply Well (WSW) where four skids will be installed. All the 25 power supply skids shall be fabricated in ASMEF s facility in ICAD II, Mussafah, Abu Dhabi. ASMEF continues its road map drawn by the senior management towards providing quality projects to its clients while maintaining schedule and at optimized cost. "This award is a testament of our dedication to becoming one of the preferred contractor and facilities in the Oil and Gas market. Securing this project is a true statement of ASMEF focus on growing its capabilities and movement towards diversification in its business lines to serve different markets" Emad Elatreby ASMEF General Manager concluded. ASMEF enters into contract with Money Matters for Financial System Enhancement As part of Ali & Sons Marine Engineering Factory "ASMEF" development plan, a contract was signed today between ASMEF and Money Matters, a division of Granite Resource Service for ASMEF's financial system enhancement with an aim to restructure the financial model and benchmarking similar facilities in order to have better control and be able to plan further cost optimization that places ASMEF among the leading facilities in the UAE as well as the region. On completion of the project, ASMEF shall be able to offer its clients cost effective solutions while maintaining the safety, quality and on time delivery aspects as core values.
