The application is able to post evestment content to Notes and Chatter within Salesforce Objects. The app can also read the Name and ID of Object Records to facilitate the posting of attachments. 1
Pre-Install Checklist 1. Identify any Default or Custom Salesforce Objects that you will want to attach evestment reports to. For each object, you will also need to identify the API name and make sure the custom object supports search. 2. Identify a Salesforce Admin who has sufficient privileges to install third-party applications. 3. Confirm that a user with evestment credentials is available to test the installation. 4. Production: https://login.salesforce.com/packaging/installpackage.apexp?p0=04t1i000003nmyx Installation 1. Use the respective navigation links provided above to start the installation. a. The password is SmartMoney1 (case-sensitive) 2. Select the installation option that best suits your organization. a. We recommend selecting Install for All Users. This allows users within the organization to see attachments using their own evestment credentials. 2
3. Click on the + icon on your tabs to navigate to the Customize My Tabs screen. a. You may add evestment to your Selected Tabs for it to appear in your customized tabs 4. Click on the evestment tab and log in using your evestment credentials a. You will only need to log in once. The evestment for Salesforce app has single sign-on functionality. You will be able to take advantage of this functionality as long as a you have an actively licensed evestment account with a matching email address between Salesforce and your evestment account. 3
Setting Up Custom Objects 1. Open the custom object you want to connect. 2. Copy the value in the API Name field and click Edit. 3. Under Search Status, ensure the box for Allow Search is checked. Click Save. 4
4. Open Custom Settings under Develop. Find evestment Custom Search Objects and click Manage. 5. Then, click New. Type the name of your custom object and paste the API value. Click Save. 5

Test and validate attachments 1. On the Product Search page, click the Actions menu, and select Attach to Salesforce Record 2. Your previously configured Custom Objects will show in the selection dropdown. 7
a. To see the records for that object show up, begin typing the first three letters. b. Note: When opening a Fast Fact Profile from within your Salesforce object, be sure to turn off the Popup Blocker in your browser. 3. Navigate to the Salesforce Record you attached to, and you should be able to see your attachments in the Chatter (if enabled) and Notes & Attachments section. 8
Frequently Asked Questions Who can use evestment for Salesforce at my firm? To use evestment for Salesforce, all users will need to have an existing evestment license with a corresponding username and password. Is single sign-on supported? Yes, single sign-on functionality is available. Users will be able to take advantage of this functionality as long as they have an actively licensed evestment account with a matching email address between Salesforce and their evestment account. Has the evestment Salesforce app completed the Force.com ISV Security Review? The package is currently unlisted, pending ISV security review, which is planned to be completed in 2018. Will the evestment app be able to edit, create or delete my other CRM data? The evestment Salesforce application will not be able to modify any existing CRM data aside from the single function of being able to attach links to Salesforce records, which when clicked will redirect authenticated users back to the source content in the evestment Salesforce app. The attached links may also include optional user-entered notes. Is there an evestment Salesforce API available? There is not currently an evestment API.
